Earlier this week, Mezco Toyz posted the teaser image of their first-ever New York Comic Con exclusive Marvel ONE:12 Collective figure, and today they’ve dropped the whole motherlode of official photos and details regarding the action figure. I wasn’t totally convinced which version of Matt Murdock this was before, but there’s no question now–the ONE:12 Collective NYCC 2016 Shadowland Daredevil figure has now been fully revealed!

Among the best news of the year for Marvel collectors was that Mezco Toyz had obtained the Marvel license to make mixed-media Marvel six inch figures! Mezco debuted nine figures in their pre-Toy Fair buildup, and eight of those figures have been up for order for a while. So it comes as no surprise that they were saving the final figure in the initial lineup as a NYCC 2016 Exclusive–ONE:12 Collective Black Daredevil!

Ever since it made its debut during the New York Toy Fair 2016 festivities, it’s been a real waiting game as fans anticipate the arrival of the first Mezco ONE:12 Collective Marvel figures.

Last week, Mezco Toyz began “the great money siege of 2015” when they put their very first Marvel ONE:12 Collective figure up for order: modern Captain America. While that was a figure that I couldn’t resist, Cap just whet my appetite for the 1/12th action figure that impressed me more than any other at Toy Fair 2016. I thought the timing of Mezco Toyz teasing their upcoming 1/12 Deadpool and Spider-Man figures this morning was a bit peculiar, what with none of the Marvel ONE:12 Collective figures for this year that we’ve preciously seen even being available for order yet. Of course, what I should have suspected is what turns out to be the case–those sneak peeks were to get us all hyped up to order this first figure in the line! And it worked on me–the ONE:12 Collective Captain America figure is now available for order!
