Before closing the book on SDCC 2018 Marvel Legends coverage, there’s two more new figures that I need to talk about that didn’t logically fit with any of the other waves that have been discussed. Neither is a character that hasn’t been covered before by ML in some form, but I think fans will be in agreement that these are better renditions of these characters. Coming our way in the Avengers & Captain Marvel Marvel Legends waves next year: Hercules & Genis-Vell!

And at San Diego Comic-Con 2018, DST did not disappoint, as they debuted a multitude of new PVC Marvel Gallery statues (like Mr. Sinister!), several new Marvel Premier statues (like Hobgoblin!), and even an expansion of their 1/2 scale busts (like Spider-Gwen!)!
Continue Reading →The next 12 months are going to be a big one for Spider-Man, with not one, but two Spider-Man movies (plus the Venom movie!) hitting theaters. Have no fears about there not being enough merch, though—Hasbro has got us covered! Following up the Marvel Legends Venom series that’s currently up for order, Hasbro announced the first of the 2019 Marvel Legends Spider-Man Figures—including a Kingpin Build-A-Figure, the Red Goblin, Silver Sable and more!
Continue Reading →The San Diego Comic-Con 2018 Marvel Legends panel has come and gone, and while I’ve actually seen some collectors complaining there weren’t enough reveals, I think there’s plenty of new things to pine away for. Over the next few days, I’ll break down all of the new 6” figures announced at the show, starting with the X-Men Marvel Legends 2019 series, which contains new figures of Blink, Gambit, Magik, Professor X in Hoverchair and more…
Continue Reading →While Hasbro may not have brought quite as many new Marvel Legends reveals with them to this year’s San Diego Comic-Con 2018, they still had a real treasure trove to share with–including quite a few store exclusives! Whether you’re an X-Men fan, an army-builder or an MCU movie-only fan, your time is now: the Marvel Legends Archangel, AIM Troopers Two-Pack and 10th Anniversary Ultron are all up for order now!

Those who guessed a M’Baku Build-A-Figure—you guessed right! And hey—how about Deadpool on Scooter, Tactical Killmonger, Dogpool and more?!
Continue Reading →When Hot Toys made a T’Chaka Black Panther sixth scale figure one of their summer convention exclusives, it seemed like a pretty audacious and out-of-left-field pick. I mean, c’mon: half of collectors didn’t even remember T’Chaka wearing that costume in the movie, right…? Well, turns out maybe that pick wasn’t as crazy as it seemed–because Hasbro is following suit! As part of their SDCC 2018 festivities, Hasbro has announced Marvel Legends Black Panther Wave 2–including Ulysses Klaue, King T’Chaka and more!
Continue Reading →SDCC 2018 is unbelievably just three days away, and that doesn’t just means loads of new Marvel figures and statues being revealed—it also means many Comic Con Exclusive Marvel toys will be hitting the marketplace. And to my surprise, I’ll be reviewing a few of those SDCC Exclusives in advance! An unexpected package from Hasbro showed up on my doorstep this weekend, giving me the opportunity to review the SDCC Marvel Legends Red Skull & Electronic Tesseract set that folks are pre-selling for $100+ on ebay…
Continue Reading →Alongside the annual SDCC Exclusive Marvel Legends 6″ figures box set, Hasbro usually has one more exclusive goodie for Marvel collectors. Sometimes it’s a 3.75″ Marvel Universe-scaled exclusive (like that awesome The Collector’s Vault set with Lockjaw!), and sometimes it’s a 12″ figure (like Daredevil). But this year, it’s something we haven’t gotten before as a Comic-Con Exclusive. The first-ever SDCC Exclusive Marvel Legends life-size replica: the electronic Tesseract–plus a 6″ Red Skull from Captain America: The First Avenger!
Continue Reading →Believe it or not, San Diego Comic Con 2018 begins in under one month! Even so, we hadn’t heard am official peep regarding this year’s Hasbro Marvel Legends exclusives. Continue Reading →SDCC 2018 is less than a month away, and while many of the major Marvel exclusives for the show are being officially announced a bit later than we’ve become accustomed to, at long last they’re finally rolling out. And this year, I believe The King of Exclusives is setting their own new personal best with a record ten Marvel exclusives, including POPs of MCU Iron Man Mark I, Classic Ant-Man, Kraglin (!!) and… Taika Waititi?!?
Continue Reading →Earlier today I discussed the trio of San Diego Comic-Con 2018 Marvel Gallery statues that are among the first exclusives announced for the event. The Funko POP Glow in the Dark Black Bolt & Teleporting Lockjaw two-pack is now up for order online!
