Earlier this week, I reviewed a Marvel Legends Build-A-Figure that I thought was solid overall but just a little bit boring: the Deadpool Legends Sasquatch BAF. Today I’m going to the opposite extreme with a review of a Build-A-Figure that’s anything but boring! The Marvel Legends Lizard BAF is the most expensive on the aftermarket of this year’s Build-A-Figures thus far and is quite difficult to find all the pieces for at retail. Is this classic Spidey villain worth the hype (and secondary market prices)?

And Bandai also has another beloved variant costume coming our way in a bit more wacky fashion—Black Ninja Spider-Man is on the way!

Medicom hit the Marvel toy collecting world with a real curveball earlier this year, when the first-ever Marvel comic-based MAFEX figure that they put up for sale was the newcomer Gwenpool. While MAFEX Gwenpool was definitely a fun and unique choice to lead off the line, she’s not exactly the kind of character that’s going to lure in tens of thousands of collectors. No, that distinction goes to the second release in the series: the MAFEX Spider-Man Comic Version figure is now up for order!
