We didn’t know it was coming for certain at all, but tonight the Rocky’s Vault Exclusive Bowen Designs Classic Beast Statue was put up for order… with an insanely low edition size of just 75 pieces produced! I’d honestly had my doubts about the Kotobukiya Marvel NOW! Avengers ArtFX+ statues line, but whatever skepticism I had was washed away by the highly-impressive Kotobukiya Hulk ArtFX+ statue that I reviewed earlier this week.

I’m on a veritable high at the moment when it comes to these Kotobukiya Avengers statues, and that’s why this was the perfect time for Kotobukiya to debut the official photos of the fifth statue in the series: the Kotobukiya Thor ArtFX+ statue is now up for pre-order!

Sideshow has been quiet, but now we can see the reason why: they’ve been working on something big. And by “big”, I mean “jaw droppingly-huge”! And then there were two! Last week Bowen Designs began shipping out the fourth-last Bowen Designs Marvel Phase V statue, and this week they’ve followed up with the third-last. This time it’s a character that pretty much anyone in the world will recognize instantly–perhaps even more so than Spider-Man!

The third-last Bowen full-size statue was just released last week, and it’s perhaps the final X-Force statue that will be released by Bowen Designs. Considering that we had seen at least the untainted prototypes of five of the six Kotobukiya Avengers ArtFX+ statues at NYCC 2013 in October, I had an expectation of seeing the whole lineup at New York Toy Fair 2014 this weekend.

I was not disappointed–the Avengers Kotobukiya Iron Man ArtFX+ statue has been revealed, and he brought the painted Kotobukiya Thor statue along for the ride!
