Sharp-eyed readers noticed that earlier today I mentioned Hasbro had unveiled five new Marvel Legends figures today, even though only four new ML debuted at Canada Fan Expo 2018. The fifth one sort of flew under the radar, because it was quietly and unceremoniously announced via the Marvel Unlimited Plus website. At New York Toy Fair 2018, Hasbro showed off almost the entirety of this summer’s Venom Marvel Legends series of figures, revealing five of the figures that will comprise the series. They also showed off the packaging for the Venom Legends Series, which revealed that the Build-A-Figure would be something called “Monster Venom”. Speculation ran rampant about what the Monster Venom figure would be, but today, he’s been revealed! And the Marvel Legends Monster Venom BAF isn’t alone–the final figure in the series, Typhoid Mary has now made her debut!

It was right around this time last year at the Miyazawa Model Exhibition Fall 2016 that Kaiyodo revealed what was the first genuine jaw-dropper in their Amazing Yamaguchi series: the Revoltech Venom figure.
