Although he’s universally-loved and in the upper-echelon X-Men popularity with fans, we haven’t gotten an official Marvel Legends Nightcrawler figure since the Toybiz Galactus wave in 2005. Wild! That was a terrific figure that stands the test of time, but Hasbro was finally ready to release their own Kurt Wagner this year! Despite being two per case, this Nightcrawler figure is selling out rapidly in stores and online! Is X-Force Marvel Legends Nightcrawler as good as the hype would have you believe?

While the inaugural Marvel Legends X-Force series has several heavy-hitters like Mr. Sinister and Nightcrawler that I’ll be reviewing soon enough, today I want to focus on what’s almost certainly the most controversial ML figure this year. “Controversial” might sound a little dramatic for a toy, but there has been a lot of discussion of this action figure. You can get the new X-Force Marvel Legends Cannonball figure for about 20 bucks shipped right now—but should you?

And to the surprise of no one, that day has arrived and the not-so-mythical monster can now be assembled! You can build your own Marvel Legends Wendigo by buying all the figures in the X-Force Legends Series—but should you?

When we made it all the way to the week of SDCC 2019 with every single Marvel Legends figure shown at Toy Fair up for PO except for the non-Fan Channel 80th Anniversary Series, it didn’t take a psychic to prophesy that they were being held onto for a grand Comic Con launch. And so it has come to pass: the Marvel Legends 80 Years series is now up for order online—including the Colossus vs. Juggeraut pack, the Amazon Exclusive Peggy Carter and Captain America set, and more!

Batted down the hatches, because San Diego Comic Con 2019–and the onslaught of new Marvel toys revealed there each year—are now just days away! But aside from a plethora of new action figures being announced, Hasbro also has three exclusive Marvel figures for the show. The SDCC 2019 Exclusive Marvel Legends Vintage Hulk figure is already pre-selling for $70-$80 on the aftermarket, but is he worth that inflation? Well, Hasbro sent over an early sample for me to review, so let’s bust this monster open and find out…

The movie-inspired Captain America shield role-play prop replicas have been hot sellers for years now, and now Hasbro is ready to give us a Cap shield of a (slightly) different color: the Marvel Legends 80th Anniversary Captain America Life-Size Shield Comic-based variant is now up for order! But… what’s the difference? Let’s take a look…
Continue Reading →Hasbro brought the goods at New York Toy Fair 2019 in February, where they debuted dozens of new Marvel Legends figures. But believe it or not, in just the last under five months since then, almost every single one of those toys has gone up for order except the 80th Anniversary Series and a lone Riders set. But we can now cross the latter off the list—the Marvel Legends Ultimate Captain America & WWII Motorcycle set is now up for order!
Continue Reading →Hasbro has been on a roll this year revisiting fan-favorite characters that haven’t been done since the Toybiz days, and that trend continues with today’s review. Marvel Legends Hydro-Man seemed like a shoe-in to be a quick sellout online with his unique design and appearance in Spider-Man Far From Home, but he’s stuck around longer at MSRP longer than I would have predicted. Are people overlooking a hidden gem with this Hydro-Man Legends figure, or has Hasbro misfired with this release?
Continue Reading →Hasbro hit collectors up with a trio of unannounced and unexpected exclusive Marvel Legends 80th Anniversary Figures this spring/summer, when they put the Marvel Legends Anti-Venom, Cowboy Logan and Big-Time Spider-Man Figures up for order! When POs opened, we had a single glam shot of each figure to make our pre-ordering decision based on. But if one image isn’t enough for you (and really, it shouldn’t be), Hasbro has now sent out several new hi-res images of all three figures!
Continue Reading →Hasbro has been pretty on-the-ball with giving collectors pretty much every major Marvel Studios villain in 6” Marvel Legends form (sorry Malekith and Kaecillius—you don’t rate), so it wasn’t a big plot twist when they revealed we’d be getting a movie-based Marvel Legends Mysterio figure from Spider-Man Far From Home as well. Packed at just one-per-case, the new 2019 Marvel Legends Mysterio figure is already sold out on Amazon, still available for pre-order from other online retailers and likely to be a tough grab at retail. Is he worth all the fuss?

But Hasbro has thrown us a mega-curveball with something totally off the wall: the first new premium role-play item in quite a while! Coming our way from the Future Fight game, the EXCLUSIVE Marvel Legends Punisher War Machine Helmet replica is now up for order!
