Given the sheer mass of Marvel toys and figures being released at retail the past few years, it’s no surprise that a few items are going to slip through the cracks and fall totally off the radar. Such is the case with the latest wave of GamerVerse figure two-packs–the sole Hasbro Marvel Universe-scaled 3.75″ figures wave being released this year! Easily one of the most eclectic groupings of Marvel action figures ever, the GamerVerse wave containing Ryu, Mr. Negative, Black Widow, PS4 Spider-Man and more is now up for order online and also beginning to pop up in stores!

At this point, we’ve seen almost everything Marvel Legends that Hasbro revealed last year at SDCC 2017 released in stores—with a couple of key exceptions. We’re still waiting for a wide release of the much-anticipated X-Men Marvel Legends Apocalypse series, but another (sort of) X-related release just came available this spring. Marvel Universe collectors have had little to enjoy so far in 2018, but the Marvel Legends Deadpool Rainbow Squad box set is now up for order!

While the pre-orders may have sold out early, evidently there were way more of this set produced than necessary, because the Marvel Legends Spider-Man vs. The Sinister Six 7-Pack is on sale today only for just $14.99 shipped! A moment of silence for those of us poor souls who paid 80 bucks…
Continue Reading →The once-mighty Hasbro Marvel Universe 3.75″ figures line (now under the “Marvel Legends” banner) has fallen on some tough times, with what feels like less and less figures hitting each year. But while output may have slowed, the party isn’t over yet! The latest series of Marvel Legends 4″ figures is now up for order, and is composed of figures revealed a full year at SDCC 2016 including Jewel, Age of Apocalypse Magneto and more!
Continue Reading →Remember that one crazy time (okay, it was last week) when the Marvel Legends Dark Phoenix & Cyclops figures two-pack arrived in Australia before anywhere else in the world…? Well, it’s happening again–this time, with a full team five-pack! But while the Toys R Us Exclusive Marvel Legends Guardians of the Galaxy box set that’s arrived on ebay may be bigger and more expensive than the Dark Phoenix pack, it’s not necessarily better, that’s for sure…
Continue Reading →Even though Hasbro started shipping the 2017 Marvel Legends GOTG and Doctor Strange two-packs months ago, I’ve yet to see a single one of those 3 3/4″ packs in a brick-and-mortar store. So with that in mind, I was a bit dubious as to whether or not this year’s new Marvel Legends Spider-Man Homecoming two-packs would ever actually appear before me at a retail store, or if I’d have to go shopping online for them. But that question was answered for me today, when both the Vulture and Shocker packs appeared before me!
Continue Reading →Yesterday was all about two of the most high-end figures of The Punisher ever (the Hot Toys Netflix Punisher and the Mezco ONE:12 Collective Classic Punisher) going up for sale, but today let’s look at some figures that are smaller, available sooner, and a whole lot cheaper! The 4″ Marvel Legends Shocker & Spider-Man two-pack debuted at New York Toy Fair 2017 last month, and now the Wave 1 GOTG and Doctor Strange Movie Two-Packs are in-stock and up for order!
Continue Reading →While I was at Target this morning hysterically tossing the new X-Men Marvel Legends figures into my basket, I caught a glimpse of something out of the corner of my eye that it took my brain a moment to comprehend. Though I hadn’t heard any reports about them hitting stores yet, the Marvel Universe scale 3.75″ Marvel Legends 2017 Wave 1 figures were all in-stock and in front of my face, including X-23 Wolverine, Moon Knight, Maestro and more!
Continue Reading →I had been planning on today’s Marvel Legends review being the new 6″ Kamala Khan Ms. Marvel figure, but those plans went off the rails when Kamala’s arm peg broke in half at the elbow. And so, while I hunt for a Ms. Marvel replacement, the former Marvel Universe 3.75″ line gets the spotlight instead tonight! The 4″ Marvel Legends Morbius is currently marked down to $3 online from his $12.99 MSRP, but is this figure really all that bad…?
Continue Reading →I was afraid of a lull in the action, but March 2016 is starting off hot for Marvel toy news! First, Hot Toys finally announced the impending pre-order for their Drax sixth scale figure. Then, packaged photos of the Marvel Legends Giant-Man wave hit. And now, the second wave of Marvel Legends 2016 4″ figures is up for order! Gamora, Rage, The Vision and more–this series is looking mighty fine!
Continue Reading →As we’re now barely over two months away from the release of this summer’s sure-to-be-epic Captain America: Civil War movie, the floodgates have finally started to open and the flood of Civil War toys is beginning to pour in. Among these items is the first officially-branded Captain America Marvel Legends item, which is now drizzling into stores–the Hasbro Marvel Legends Civil War Captain America with Motorcycle!
Continue Reading →I heard rumblings a couple weeks ago during Toy Fair that the 2016 Marvel Legends Comic Packs two-packs had landed in the United States, and I’ve been in hot pursuit ever since.
Today, I finally tracked them down at retail–including the hotly-awaited Lady Thor and Sam Wilson Captain America action figures. But while there’s lots to love here, I know some collectors will be disappointed…
Continue Reading →While Hasbro blew the minds of Marvel Legends 6″ figure collectors at New York Toy Fair 2016 and impressively debuted the Marvel Legends prop replicas and sixth scale figures at the event, there’s one branch of the brand that didn’t get such a grandiose treatment.
Although zero figures we hadn’t seen before were shown off for the Marvel Legends 4″ scale at Toy Fair, I still snapped a ton of photos of Gamora and some of the other upcoming figures…
Continue Reading →2016 is off to a fast start, with the first wave of this year’s 6″ Marvel Legends figures already in our hands, and new products from Sideshow, Hot Toys and more already revealed. But one line that hadn’t landed yet was the newly- rebranded 4″ Marvel Legends 2016 figures… at least, not until now: the Hasbro Marvel Legends 4″ Wave 1 figures are now up for order! And not only does the series itself include eight figures–but so does the case pack…!
Continue Reading →A couple of unannounced Marvel Legends 2016 4″ figures turned up on eBay last week, leaving fans wondering whether the figures were legit. Well, we Marvel Universe-scale collectors didn’t have too long to wait to find out: Hasbro has officially confirmed two upcoming new Marvel Legends 3.75″ figures–Black Panther and House of M Spider-Man! But there’s one other bit of news: a troubling potential price increase to $19.99 per figure…
UPDATE: And rejoice–Hasbro has confirmed that the price increase on their site was an error: 4″ figures will remain $12.99 in 2016.
