We are now just two weeks away from New York Comic Con 2015, the sold-out ever of the season that will hopefully end the recent lull of new Marvel collectibles being announced (rassum frassum Star Wars)! I love Funko an awful, awful lot. So much so, in fact, that I stood in line at the Toy Tokyo booth at New York Comic Con 2014 in a sort-of-successful attempt to claim the NYCC 2014 Funko exclusives. So I was pretty pumped when Funko announced they’d be attending NYCC themselves for the first time in 2015.

Earlier this month, Bandai opened up pre-orders for their web-exclusive S.H. Figuarts Ultron action figure. But Bandai Tamashii isn’t the only overseas company looking to make bank on an action figure of the lead villain of the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie. Up until now, the extent of Kaiyodo’s Marvel offerings has been a multitude of Revoltech Iron Man figures–but that’s going to change this winter when the Revoltech Ultron figure is unleashed!

The Spider-Man Marvel Legends Rhino Series is one of my favorite Hasbro Marvel Legends 6″ series ever, as it’s filling in character gaps both vital (Ben Reilly Scarlet Spider, Chameleon) and ridiculously obscure. Of all the news articles that I published following San Diego Comic-Con 2015, the one that most surprised me the most regarding the sheer amount of hype and excitement that it drummed up was the preview of the Gentle Giant Skottie Young Marvel Babies statues.
