Marvel Legends Vision Target 3-Pack Exclusive Released!

With Q4 2015 beginning tomorrow, it’s almost time to bid our Hasbro Marvel 2015 collecting adieu. Every full series of 2015 Marvel Legends has now been released at mass retail, with just a few exclusives left as holdouts. Or, at least there were some exclusive holdouts left! The exclusive Target Marvel Legends 3-Pack of Vision, Ultron and Hulk figures has now been released in stores! Well… from a certain point of view…

Marvel Legends Avengers Target Exclusive 3-Pack

Hasbro announced this year’s Ultron three-pack exclusive way back on Valentine’s Day at the New York Toy Fair 2015, but didn’t give any timetable as to when we’d actually see the set. As such, I’ve head my rabbit ears up and alert ever since.

I finally started to hear rumblings about collectors managing to snag the latest Target Marvel Legends exclusive set about a week ago, and over the course of this week similar reports have continued to flood in. But you won’t find this exclusive on the shelves–you have to ask for it!

Presumably, Target stores are holding onto their Marvel Legends exclusive three-pack to use on a future holiday endcap of exclusives, in the same manner as their Radioactive Man 3-Pack from last year. As such, I’ve heard exactly zero reports of this box set being found on store shelves.

Hasbro Marvel Legends Ultron Hulk Vision Set CaseBut wait–! That doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t buy the quasi-Age of Ultron themed set just yet! Armed with the trusty Marvel Legends 3-Pack DPCI number, dozens of collectors nationwide have already scored their own copies of this exclusive set.

Marvel Legends Target Exclusive Three-Pack Case Ultron VisionBasically, all you have to do is bring the DCPI # to the customer service desk at your local store and ask them to check the inventory. There’s no hard street date on this three-pack, so if your store has already received their case(s) from Hasbro, they have no grounds not to bring out the case for you and let you purchase your own set(s)!

Marvel Legends Vision Figure from Target 3-PackThe Target Vision/Ultron/Hulk 3-Pack DPCI is 087-06-1200. This is the same DPCI number as last year’s set, but at this point, no Target stores should have the Ms. Marvel/Radioactive Man/Captain America set left in stock due to that set being cleared out at a heavy discount.

Target Exclusive Marvel Legends Hulk Figure from 3-Pack SetAnd speaking of which–although you can’t buy the Marvel Legends 2015 set from the Target website right now, you can use the discounted listing on the Target website to price-match the set and get it for close to half-price!

So after the friendly store employees retrieve the exclusive Target Marvel Legends three-pack from the back using DPCI# 087-06-1200, they can also take $21.50 off the price you pay for the set when you show the lower price on the website, thus lowering your cost to the same $28.50 that last year’s set was blown out at. Not bad, right?!

Target will catch on to this and raise the price on their website soon enough, but for now it’s all fair. So if you want these new figures at a discount, the clock is ticking!

Back of Box Target Marvel Legends Infinite Series Ultron SetAre you planning on claiming this Avengers Marvel Legends Target 3-Pack for your very own? And if so, are you waiting for it to legitimately hit the shelves, or will you be sending Target employees to the warehouse to grab your Vision/Ultron/Hulk 3-Pack for you while it’s still on “sale”?

Marvel Legends Vision Target 3-Pack Exclusive Released! — 26 Comments

  1. I picked this set up last weekend and my target put the rest on the shelf, none of the other sets have sold yet. I think hasbro pushed out all there legends to fast this year. The should have spread the waves out better. I got the first three waves withing a month, same for the last 3 waves, with 3 months on between each three. It would have been better to get a new wave each month and then all the exclusive crap each month after. I had every marvel legends I wanted by the time I got my sdcc exclusives, that’s crazy. Now I picked up this set and I’m done until next year unless we get another surprise before the year is out.

  2. The Target computer system does have a street date, but it is internal, not from Hasbro. I was told that no product would be released until October 4th.

It never hurts to ask a few employees until someone says yes. I’m going to try again today.

      • I’ve checked three Targets in my area and none have stock in yet. Shelf date is tomorrow, and the price will likely update on the website by then. I may wait for the price to drop again if I don’t get it tomorrow in time.

  3. Is that West Coast Avengers Vision just a repaint of Avengers A.I. Vision we got in the Legends line?

    • Not quite. He’s semi transparent, has different feet, and at least his left hand is different. But otherwise yes, same head, body, legs, arms and cape molds.

  4. If I can get that discount or pick it up on clearance I’ll pick it up but Ultron is the only figure from that pack that look like its worth getting so I won’t pay anywhere near $50 for it.

  5. Yep.
    This works.
Just went and asked them to get it from the back and then price matched the clearance price on the website.

    Hilarious and amazing.

    TENOUTTATEN would do again.

  6. It was out on the shelf at one of the Targets near me. It was priced at 50 bucks. Picked it up, like the Ultron and Vision, Hulk is alright. Just a repaint with a new head. Overall the big selling point of this set is the new Ultron

      • Yea….mostly. The forearms, hands, and obviously the head are different, and no wings.

But the Beetle body repaint makes for an amazing Ultron.
It’s probably the best non-MCU ~6-7″ Ultron action figure that exists.

  7. My local target in pgh just got the 3 pack from storage for 28.50. I got the whole Rhino BAF for 12.99 each from online price match too. Great haul for a late night Friday toy run. What’s the news on hulkbuster BAF.

  8. DCPI worked for me and employee mentioned He had just pulled another one from the back for someone else.

  9. Yup – had to provide the DCPI number and have someone bring it out from the back room.

  10. Just used the above advice and got one today. Gave the kid on the floor the code and he went into the back and got it for me, then typed the same code into the Target website on my phone and popped it up. The picture is of the current box (Hulk, Ultron and Vision), but the price, and the comments, are for the old product. The guy at the register was too confused and called for help. The next guy said “we shouldn’t even have this”. I showed him the price on-line and he shrugged and gave it to me. $30. Not a bad score. Thanks for the advice.

And if anyone’s in the Hudson Valley, NY, the Target in Monroe still has three left as of today.

  11. Thank you Dabid for the nice update and tip. On Friday (October 2nd) I asked an employee if they had any in the back, gave the DCPI number, and *bam* they had it! Price matched the website price and got it for $28.50. Very nice to take advantage of Target not updating their website 🙂

  12. My local Target had 4 of these on endcap with $50 price tag. So it looks like Target is finally putting these out. may be the end of getting lower price based off website.

  13. Got mine today. Above correct, go to customer service or pick up on shelf give DPCI # Say there a “Price Cut” on Targets web site and boom went from $50.00 to $30.00

  14. Oh, by the way there were 4 on the shelf didn’t have to ask. Just look around all the ends caps in the toy department

  15. The price match still works, picked this up today for $30. I really like the Vision and Ultron, the Hulk doesn’t do much for me though, his head is silly and it had poor joints in every pack they had.
