UPDATE: The Venom Marvel Legends Series may have just gone up for sale a couple hours ago, but single figures of every Venom Legends figure are now available for PO as well! They’re not quite as cheap per figure as buying by the case, but if you just want to cherry-pick your favorites like Spider-Ham, Scream or Carnage, you might wanna jump on this before the popular shortpacked figures are gone!

UPDATE: Yesterday this wave went up for sale by error, but it’s no accident today that not only are whole cases of the Marvel Legends SP//dr Series available–but single figures of Marvel Legends Doc Ock, Cloak/Dagger, Elektra and company are as well! They’re two bucks more per figure than buying by the case, but if you’re only looking to grab Doctor Octopus, Scarlet Spider, Daredevil or whoever for your collection, this is the time to do it!

The Kotobukiya ARTFX+ X-Men ‘92 statues line has been one of the best surprises of 2018 so far, with figures of Wolverine, Jubilee, Cyclops, Beast and Professor X in hoverchair already solicited. And this week, the team grew some more with two more 90s mainstays: the Kotobukiya ARTFX+ Storm and Bishop two-pack is now up for order! Oh, and for those wanting the most famous Avengers mutant? ARTFX+ Scarlet Witch is on the way as well!

After close to a year since the first figures were shown at SDCC 2017, the 2018 X-Men Marvel Legends Apocalypse Series finally went up for order yesterday! Such a momentous occassion has understandably put me into an X-Men kinda mood. And so, for today’s review, let’s take a look at the X-character who’s managed to one-up Deadpool in his own series by being by far the most in-demand figure of the wave: Deadpool Marvel Legends Cable!

Earlier this week, I reviewed a Marvel Legends Build-A-Figure that I thought was solid overall but just a little bit boring: the Deadpool Legends Sasquatch BAF. Today I’m going to the opposite extreme with a review of a Build-A-Figure that’s anything but boring! The Marvel Legends Lizard BAF is the most expensive on the aftermarket of this year’s Build-A-Figures thus far and is quite difficult to find all the pieces for at retail. Is this classic Spidey villain worth the hype (and secondary market prices)?

Love ‘em or hate ‘em, repaints are a fact of collecting life. Sometimes we’re lucky enough to know that a repaint is in the works when an original statue is shown, and sometimes we’re not. Today’s item is unfortunately of the latter type, as it was recently announced… a year and a half after the original version. The Sideshow Avengers Assemble Stealth Iron Man Statue is now up for order, and is limited to just 500 pieces produced!

At New York Toy Fair 2018, Hasbro showed off almost the entirety of this summer’s Venom Marvel Legends series of figures, revealing five of the figures that will comprise the series. They also showed off the packaging for the Venom Legends Series, which revealed that the Build-A-Figure would be something called “Monster Venom”. Speculation ran rampant about what the Monster Venom figure would be, but today, he’s been revealed! And the Marvel Legends Monster Venom BAF isn’t alone–the final figure in the series, Typhoid Mary has now made her debut!

Continuing to slog through my massive backlog of Marvel Legends figures that I have queued for review, today I’m looking at one of this year’s most surprising Build-A-Figures. Sasquatch is one of the cheaper complete Marvel Legends BAFs on the aftermarket in quite a while, and has only a tenuous connection to the character whose series he’s the Build-A-Figure of (Deadpool). Is this Hasbro figure worth upgrading to if you already own the Toybiz version?

Every so often, Hasbro will end up releasing a 6” Marvel Legends figure that blows my mind in both positive and negative regard. Such is the case with one of the most difficult Marvel Legends figures to find at retail so far this year: Iron Spider! Though Marvel Legends Iron Spider is selling for double on the aftermarket and is tough to snag at retail, this release baffles by what’s present being perfect, and what’s not present driving collectors nuts…

Diamond Select Toys’ Marvel Gallery line of PVC statues is the gift that keeps on giving, bringing us multiple new low-priced statues from Marvel comics and movies virtually every single month. This month is no exception, and the newest offerings are among some of the best that we’ve seen from the line to-date: the Marvel Gallery Iron Spider, Unmasked Star-Lord and Cloak & Dagger statues are now up for order!

I’m still well behind in my 2018 Marvel Legends reviews, so I’m going to diverge from my usual format and knock out two figure reviews for the price of one today! While the Spider-Man Marvel Legends Lizard Series has been out in stores (allegedly) for a couple months now, it’s been exceedingly hard to find in a lot of areas. If you haven’t obtained the Marvel Legends Lasher and Prowler Figures yet, are they worth the hunt? Here’s my review…

Talk about striking when the iron is hot! Thanks to the mega-success of Deadpool 2, Domino is more popular this week than the character has been since, well… ever! And not ones to miss an opportunity, Diamond Select Toys is ready to swoop in and capitalize: the first-ever resin Domino Statue is now up for order! And that’s not all DST has lined up for the Marvel Premier Collection: a Black Panther movie Statue is now on the way as well…

It’s no secret that I’ve been getting seduced by the sweet siren song of Iron Studios over the past few months, as their resin 1/10 Battle Diorama Series Marvel statues are becoming more and more impressive. The largest series to-date by far is coming in the form of the Avengers Infinity War BDS, and following up on last month’s successful Thanos and Cull Obsidian launches, the first three Avengers are joining the fray: the Iron Studios Black Widow, Hulkbuster and Hulk statues are now up for order!
