We’re just one week out from the inaugural HasCon, but before Hasbro makes their HasCon reveals, they had one more figure that they wanted to show off first at FanExpo Canada in Toronto this week. Hasbro said they didn’t want to show the 2018 Marvel Legends Deadpool Series Build-A-Figure at SDCC 2017, and now we know why: it’s because he’s Canadian and wanted to make his grand debut in Toronto! The Marvel Legends Sasquatch Build-A-Figure has now been revealed!

No one ever said building a new Marvel Legends Fantastic Four would be easy (or fast)! It’s been a lengthy wait since the new Marvel Legends Invisible Woman first appeared in January, but Sue Storm’s little brother has finally flamed onto store shelves in North America… in Canada (and on ebay), at least! Had Marvel Studios not selected Hela to be the primary antagonist of Thor Ragnarok, it’s very likely we’d have never seen her gracing local retail shelves in toy from any company. Ever. But they did, and now Hela is about to become among the most recognizable Marvel female characters in the world! A couple years back, it looked like the Play Arts Kai Marvel Variant line might be on its last legs when they released a trio of straight-up “Special Color Version” repaints. Among these was an Iron Man Special Color Ver. figure that had been repainted into War Machine colors. At the time, that seemed likely to be the only Play Arts War Machine figure that would ever be produced. Exiting the theater from seeing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in the spring, there was nothing–nothing–I wanted more in the world than a Hot Toys Yondu sixth scale figure. At that point, A Yondu MMS figure hadn’t even been teased, so it felt like a lost cause. But at SDCC 2017, the curtain dropped on what I’ve heard many other collectors calling the best sixth scale figure of the show. Kotobukiya’s Marvel ARTFX+ line has grown over the past half decade to be a real low-priced statue juggernaut, with lineups from the X-Men, Avengers, Spider-Verse and soon Defenders all represented in 1:10 scale.
