Remember when computer listings appeared for a mysterious wave of Marvel Legends figures that some speculated would be a Barnes and Noble exclusive, and I asserted that that would be utterly ridiculous? Yeah–I was right. Marvel Legends Avengers Wave 3, as I thought, is another mass-release Marvel Legends 2015 figures set. But you know what’s even better than me being right…? If you said “a giant 9″ tall Hulkbuster Iron Man Build-A-Figure”, you’re right!

Over the weekend, Kotobukiya revealed the full concept artwork for the upcoming Lady Deadpool Bishoujo statue.
I figured that Koto might at least be saving the official photos of the final Bishoujo Wasp prototype until after the New York Toy Fair 2015 (so that they could debut the actual Wasp statue at the event), but clearly that was not the plan: the Kotobukiya Wasp Bishoujo statue is now fully-revealed and up for order!
Continue Reading →Despite the fact that he’s had three ongoing series and a huge number of guest star appearances in various comic books over the years, Machine Man has never really caught on as a “top-tier” Marvel character. In fact, as far as merchandise goes, there weren’t many Machine Man toys out there at all, with the most prominent being a cool Bowen Designs Machine Man mini-bust. But that all changed this year, when Hasbro finally gave Machine Man his due. And even though my case still hasn’t arrived, I ordered an extra Marvel Legends Machine Man from Amazon to review early…
Continue Reading →During the entire time that I’ve been running Marvel Toy News, I’ve never seen Marvel collectors quite so hyped up and excited for a new wave of action figures as they are for the 2015 Marvel Legends Avengers Wave 1 figures. Because of the fact that all of the figures in this series are one-per-case except Hawkeye, fans not wanting to order a whole case have had to wait and rely on finding the figures in stores. But no longer–most of the Marvel Legends 2015 Avengers Wave 1 figures are now available individually on Amazon!
Continue Reading →Earlier this week I discussed the probably-not-a-Barnes-and-Noble-exclusive Marvel Legends Avengers Dr. Strange series–but that’s not the only new Hasbro Marvel Legends 2015 series to emerge in rumors and whispers this week!
A potential Marvel Legends Ant-Man series has now been leaked on Amazon, including long-lost figures like Tigershark and BULLDOZER!
Continue Reading →Next week is the big week when most retail stores in the United States will start to become covered in Avengers Age of Ultron toys that should take up loads of shelf space for most of 2015, but that doesn’t mean that some stores aren’t starting the attack by releasing the Marvel Legends Avengers Wave 1 figures a week early! Reports are coming in from the midwest that Target stores have released the series a bit early, and we’ve got the photos (including the receipt!) to confirm them…

So, even though the Avengers & X-Men: AXIS comic book series just wrapped up last month, DST already has a whole series of AXIS Marvel Minimates lined up for this summer! Headlined by Marvel Minimates Falcon Captain America and the Red Onslaught, the Marvel Minimates Wave 62 AXIS figures are now up for order!

The Funko Fabrikations Deadpool and Rocket Raccoon figures released last year were enormously popular, and I’ve been pining away for a while for news of another release in the line. Well, the announcement took a while, but there’s not one new Marvel Fabrikations Funko figure on the way–there’s four: the Funko Fabrikations Avengers Age of Ultron figures are now up for order!
Continue Reading →You know that saying “You can’t see the forest for the trees”? Yeah–that’s about how every Marvel Legends collector feels today. The focus has been centered on the first wave of Avengers Marvel Legends 2015 figures for so long now that even though that series is finally up for order, something else has slipped through the cracks. Already packaged and coming soon to stores–it’s the 6″ 2015 Marvel Legends Avengers Wave 2 Thanos Series!
Continue Reading →Oh yeah–I knew I was forgetting someone when I said that I figured we’d seen all of the major Avengers Age of Ultron toys that would be available at the movie’s launch. And that someone happens to be one of the hottest companies in the collectibles world: Funko! But have no fear, Funko is back to sieze your wallets: an all-new series of Avengers Age of Ultron POP Vinyls is now up for pre-order–including the first-ever Funko Hawkeye, Vision and Ultron figures!
UPDATE 1/21/2015: Hi-Res photos of the Funko Avengers 2 POP Vinyls have now been posted!

But when I get the Marvel Mashers Deadpool figure last summer, Hasbro won me over with the stylized, well-articulated, reasonably-priced Marvel Super Hero Mashers figures. And the successful line will be expanding even further in 2015, with a whole assortment of Avengers Age of Ultron Mashers–including the first Marvel Mashers Vision and Ultron figures!
Continue Reading →There hasn’t been a non-exclusive Marvel Legends action figure released since last summer, and the natives are starting to get restless! While factory samples of the 2015 Marvel Legends Avengers figures slipped out a month ago, there was no official word from Hasbro that retailers could begin taking pre-orders–much less an actual release date. But thankfully, relief is finally in sight: the Avengers Marvel Legends 2015 Infinite Series figures are now up for order!
Continue Reading →I get a handful of people messaging me each and every week asking when the 2015 Marvel Legends Avengers figures series will be going up for order. Unfortunately, Hasbro hasn’t allowed retailers to open pre-orders yet for the series (and likely won’t until closer to the new year). That said, while you can’t order them just yet, thanks to a series of auctions listed by a Hong Kong scrapper, we can get our first look at some stolen/discarded factory samples of the Avengers Marvel Legends Infinite Series coming our way this winter!
Continue Reading →Earlier today I posted about the surprise set of Marvel Minimates Wave 19 Toys R Us Exclusive figures that’s going to be released later this month–but those aren’t the only new Marvel figures Diamond Select Toys has lined up for us before the end of the year! Way back in May 2014, DST held a vote to determine the four figures who would appear in the Marvel Minimates Infinity Box Set. The set went off-the-radar following the vote, but now Diamond Select has not only revealed the winning characters today–but the figure set itself has already begun to start hitting stores!
Continue Reading →2014 has been a mixed bag for Marvel statue collectors, as the original Marvel statue producer, Bowen Designs, exited Marvel statue production (possibly forever), while newcomers like XM Studios and Gentle Giant Ltd. entered the fray. No one was sure to expect when Gentle Giant announced their first Marvel Cinematic Universe statues in late 2013, but the Gentle Giant Captain America: The Winter Soldier Black Widow 18″ statue has now arrived, and the verdict is in: this statue is spectacular…
