Marvel Infinite Series Deadpool Figure Review & Photos

Marvel Infinite Series Deadpool Figure 2015

While it hasn’t exactly been getting the ludicrous amount of hype that other movies coming out in the near future (*cough* Star Wars *cough*) are, there’s a superhero movie hitting theaters in just over three months called “Deadpool”. And while there won’t be a plethora of Deadpool toys at mass retail when the movie does drop, Hasbro has lined up at least one new(-ish) figure for fans to chase after: the Marvel Infinite Series Deadpool figure mold is an oldie, but is it still a goodie…?

2015 Marvel Legends Spider-Man 2099 Figures Packaged

2015 has been a downright incredible year for Marvel Legends collectors, no doubt about it. Hasbro released six full new waves of Marvel Legends 6″ figures this year, in addition to numerous exclusive releases. In total, over 50 new Marvel Legends action figures released this year! There’s just one problem with all this goodness: we’ve got to pay for it. But if you missed a few figures this year, you may be in luck–we’re teaming up with Entertainment Earth to give away an entire case of the Spider-Man Legends Hobgoblin Series!

Marvel Infinite Series Juggernaut Colossus Review & Photos

Marvel Infinite Series Colossus Juggernaut Review

Over the weekend I posted my review of one of the three “make-good” figures included in the final wave of Hasbro Marvel Infinite Series 3 3/4″ figures: Emma Frost. I was mostly satisfied with that figure of the White Queen, but even so, one of the other Marvel Universe leftovers has stolen Emma’s thunder, in my opinion! I almost didn’t order the Marvel Infinite Series Juggernaut Colossus figure, as I wasn’t sure I needed a toy of this character. I was so, so wrong… this just may be my favorite 4″ Marvel figure of 2015!

2016 Marvel Legends Venom Figure Packaged

With the recent releases of the Target 3-Pack and Walgreens First Appearance Daredevil exclusives, all of the 2015 Marvel Legends 6″ figures that had been scheduled have now been released. But don’t get too comfortable, Marvel collectors! While we’ve still likely got 6-8 weeks before they begin to arrive in the United States (less if Hasbro wants to rush them for Christmas), photos have leaked out of the factories in China giving us our first look at next year’s packaging and the final finished figures composing the 2016 Marvel Legends Captain America Civil War and Spider-Man series!

Marvel Infinite Series Emma Frost Review & Photos (Hasbro)

Hasbro Marvel Infinite Series Emma Frost Figure Review

As soon as Hasbro confirmed the lineup for the final wave of Marvel Infinite Series 3 3/4″ figures, I instantly knew which character fans were going to be salivating for most.

Though she was scrapped at the tail end of the Marvel Universe line, she made it in just in time for the end of this one! She’s already selling around $20 online, but is this Marvel Infinite Series Emma Frost 4″ figure a diamond like its namesake can turn into…?

Marvel Infinite Series Chameleon 4″ Figure Review & Photos

Marvel Infinite Series Chameleon Review

One of the surprise “hot” Hasbro figures of 2015 has been the 6″ Marvel Legends Chameleon figure from the second Spider-Man wave of the year. Given how well-received by collectors and difficult to find in stores that figure is, I had high expectations for the Marvel Infinite Series Chameleon 4″ figure and immediately bust it open when I received my 2015 Marvel Infinite Series Wave 3 set from EE. Unfortunately, despite how “right” the Marvel Legends version was, this Chameleon figure is a bit of a dud in comparison…

Walgreens Marvel Legends Yellow Daredevil Released!

Spider-Man Legends Exclusive Classic Yellow Daredevil Figure

Earlier this week I talked about the arrival of one of the two final 2015 Marvel Legends items: the Target Exclusive Marvel Legends three-pack containing figures of Ultron, Indestructible Hulk and the West Coast Avengers Vision. But that’s not to say that the other final item for this year’s range hasn’t been released recently as well: the Walgreens Exclusive Marvel Legends First Appearance Daredevil figure is also at large! And while he was previously only found online, Classic Yellow Daredevil is starting to show up now in Walgreens stores as well…

Marvel Legends Avengers Target Exclusive 3-Pack

With Q4 2015 beginning tomorrow, it’s almost time to bid our Hasbro Marvel 2015 collecting adieu. Every full series of 2015 Marvel Legends has now been released at mass retail, with just a few exclusives left as holdouts. Or, at least there were some exclusive holdouts left! The exclusive Target Marvel Legends 3-Pack of Vision, Ultron and Hulk figures has now been released in stores! From a certain point of view…

Marvel Legends Hulkbuster Iron Man Build-A-Figure Review!

Marvel Legends Avengers Hulk Buster Iron Man Figure

I’ve been doing an awful lot of talking about Hulk toys this week, so I think maybe it’s time to switch gears and do some Hulk-busting!

The most talked-about and in-demand Hasbro Marvel Legends figure of the year is the Hulkbuster Iron Man Build-A-Figure. You have to buy all seven Marvel Legends Avengers Wave 3 figures to build him, but is the Marvel Legends Hulkbuster Iron Man worth it…? In two words: “Awwwww. Yeah.”

Marvel Legends White Tiger Review & Photos (Rhino Series)

Marvel Legends White Tiger Review & Photos

The Spider-Man Marvel Legends Rhino Series is one of my favorite Hasbro Marvel Legends 6″ series ever, as it’s filling in character gaps both vital (Ben Reilly Scarlet Spider, Chameleon) and ridiculously obscure. Last time I talked about the almost-perfect Misty Knight figure, but she’s not the only female in this wave! The Marvel Legends White Tiger figure is also now available for order, and while she may not be a mainstream icon, she is a pretty stellar action figure…

Marvel Legends Avengers Age of Ultron Set Released!

Marvel Legends Avengers Age of Ultron Thor Figure

It was exactly seven months and two days ago that Hasbro tried (successfully, in many cases) to buy Marvel movie fans’ love by unveiling the Amazon Exclusive Marvel Legends Avengers Age of Ultron 4-Pack at the New York Toy Fair 2015. Well, it’s been an arduous wait, but ahead of AOU arriving on Blu Ray, the Avengers Marvel Legends Box set is finally in-stock and shipping! And for those who can’t haven’t received their set yet and want to check out the in-hand photos of the figures, here you go…

Marvel Legends Misty Knight Review & Photos (Rhino Wave)

Marvel Legends Misty Knight Eyes Cross-Eyed

At New York Toy Fair 2015 in February, I came to the realization that the Hasbro Marvel Legends brand is now nearly as strong as Star Wars was a decade before, now being able to feasibly produce and sell through the most obscure of characters.

And the character that made my have that epiphany is the subject of tonight’s review: Marvel Legends Misty Knight is now available for below retail cost online–should you add her to your collection?

Marvel Legends 2016 Captain America Civil War Figures!

Marvel Legends Red Onslaught Build-A-Figure Hasbro 2016

Now that we’ve hit the slow season between SDCC 2015 and NYCC 2015, it’s time to backtrack and discuss some upcoming items that I didn’t give their due to right away. And the biggest of those news items is the first major wave of Marvel Legends 2016 figures: the Marvel Legends Captain America Civil War wave! I talked about three of the figures from this wave during the second day of SDCC, but Hasbro still had a couple more surprises for us… including a Werewolf Captain America and the Red Onslaught Build-A-Figure!
