As anticipated, Bandai Tamashii Nations brought along their four previously-solicited Marvel Manga Realization Samurai figures to New York Comic Con 2017 (even the poor Samurai Spider-Man that’s 40% off online). What was not anticipated—at all—however, was that Bandai would be bringing “Approval Pending” designs of five more characters for the Manga Realization line: including Hulk, Wolverine, Deadpool and more!

After today, I don’t think there’s any question about it: Spider-Verse is “the next big thing” as far as what’s coming down the pike for Marvel statues from Sideshow Collectibles! Not only did the red-hot Exclusive Spider-Gwen Statue with extra masked head go up for order, but the next two figures in the Spider-Verse statues series were revealed at New York Comic Con 2017: Silk and Spider-Man himself!

While there weren’t any previously-unrevealed Spider-Man Marvel Legends 2018 figures on display at HasCon this morning, the five figures previously-revealed for the next wave were all present and spotlighted at the Marvel booth on the floor, including the Lizard Build-A-Figure, Gwenpool, Lasher, Spider-Punk, and my favorite: Mysterio.
