Marvel Legends X-Men 97 ROGUE Figure Review & Photos (Hasbro 2023)

2023 Marvel Legends Rogue X-Men 97 Figure Review Pulling Gloves Off

When Hasbro released their first 6” Marvel Legends Rogue figure in her 90s Jim Lee costume back in 2017, it was a pretty big deal and a hole-filler for many X-Men collectors. Flash-forward 6+ years, and we’ve had multiple X-Men Legends Rogue figures since. Even so, X-Men ‘97 is on the horizon, and that means that every old X-Man is new again for some incoming fans—and Hasbro is ready to service those fans with new and/or upgraded figures! Does the now-available X-Men 97 Rogue Legends figure bring enough to the table to warrant a purchase? Here’s my review…

Marvel Legends X-Men 97 Bishop REVIEW

To the astonishment of many (including me), the HasLab Giant-Man rocketed past finding in its final day and even unlocked the Zombie Head Stretch goal, as the campaign numbers nearly doubled in the last 48 hours. But now that Marvel Legends collectors have a two foot tall figure to look forward to receiving in the future, let’s jump back to the present and review a new figure of a character -from- the future! Close-Up of X-Men 97 Magneto Action Figure Hasbro Marvel Legends

It may be rather hard to believe given the iconic nature and massive popularity of the character, but Hasbro has never individually released a non-exclusive standard 616 Magneto Marvel Legends 6” figure… until now! Marvel Legends X-Men 97 Gambit Figure REVIEW & Photos (Hasbro 2023)

2023 Marvel Legends Gambit X-Men 97 Comparison with Retro Series Gambit

Back when I reviewed the X-Men Marvel Legends Gambit figure from the Caliban Series in 2019, I said that “I wouldn’t mind seeing another version of this same figure released” down the road. Hasbro must have taken that to heart, because now they’ve updated and released this Remy twice more! The Marvel Legends X-Men 97 Gambit figure is now available—is the third time the charm that elevates this Gambit to definitive?

I think it should be mandatory to exclaim “SWEET CHRISTMAS!!” in the introduction to any review of a classic Luke Cage action figure, so let’s get that out of the way right now. Marvel Legends Spider-Man No Way Home Series Movie Figures

Spider-Man No Way Home was clearly the MCU theatrical release star of the pandemic era, but the strict attempts to keep the movie’s secrets led to a dearth of toys and collectibles ready within a year of its 2021 release.

In fact, likely to the extreme surprise of anyone who hasn’t been avidly collecting for the past two years, no Hasbro Spider-Man No Way Home Marvel Legends action figures have made it to retail stores at all yet.

But the wait is over—Hasbro announced a six-figure blister carded wave of Spider-Man NWH Legends 6” figures today, along with previewing and teasing other additions to the lineup!

REVIEW: Marvel Legends Joe Fixit Hulk Walmart Exclusive Figure

Marvel Legends Joe Fixit 2023 Action Figure Review Walmart Deluxe Exclusive

Joe Fixit the Las Vegas Mob Enforcer is about as far down on my list of favorite Hulk iterations as you can get, so I wasn’t too chapped about missing the Joe Fixit BAF of the Marvel Legends GamerVerse series I absolutely didn’t want to buy the entire wave of back in 2020. But now that I could get him solo as a Marvel Legends 2023 Walmart Exclusive (without having to buy variants of Iron Man and Captain America I’d immediately bin), this Grey Hulk looked a whole lot more appealing. Now that I have him in-hand, am I glad I softened on the mobster (not monster) Hulk? Here’s my review…
