The San Diego Comic-Con 2018 Marvel Legends panel has come and gone, and while I’ve actually seen some collectors complaining there weren’t enough reveals, I think there’s plenty of new things to pine away for. Over the next few days, I’ll break down all of the new 6” figures announced at the show, starting with the X-Men Marvel Legends 2019 series, which contains new figures of Blink, Gambit, Magik, Professor X in Hoverchair and more…

Whether you’re an X-Men fan, an army-builder or an MCU movie-only fan, your time is now: the Marvel Legends Archangel, AIM Troopers Two-Pack and 10th Anniversary Ultron are all up for order now!
Continue Reading →The Marvel Legends “main event” of San Diego Comic-Con 2018 won’t be until the Hasbro panel tomorrow night, but Hasbro has been giving us fresh nibbles each day to whet our appetites. And following up on their announcement of the first half of the Black Panther Marvel Legends Wave 2 Figures Thursday morning, they’ve now announced the remainder of the wave! Those who guessed a M’Baku Build-A-Figure—you guessed right! And hey—how about Deadpool on Scooter, Tactical Killmonger, Dogpool and more?!
Continue Reading →When Hot Toys made a T’Chaka Black Panther sixth scale figure one of their summer convention exclusives, it seemed like a pretty audacious and out-of-left-field pick. I mean, c’mon: half of collectors didn’t even remember T’Chaka wearing that costume in the movie, right…? Well, turns out maybe that pick wasn’t as crazy as it seemed–because Hasbro is following suit! As part of their SDCC 2018 festivities, Hasbro has announced Marvel Legends Black Panther Wave 2–including Ulysses Klaue, King T’Chaka and more!
Continue Reading →SDCC 2018 is unbelievably just three days away, and that doesn’t just means loads of new Marvel figures and statues being revealed—it also means many Comic Con Exclusive Marvel toys will be hitting the marketplace. And to my surprise, I’ll be reviewing a few of those SDCC Exclusives in advance! An unexpected package from Hasbro showed up on my doorstep this weekend, giving me the opportunity to review the SDCC Marvel Legends Red Skull & Electronic Tesseract set that folks are pre-selling for $100+ on ebay…
Continue Reading →It’s taken almost a full year since the wave started to be unveiled at San Diego Comic Con 2017, but the long-anticipated 2018 Marvel Legends X-Men Apocalypse Series is finally starting to ship out to online retailers and some brick and mortar stores. I wanted to kick off my figure reviews for this wave with something big—and what’s bigger than the Build-A-Figure, right? The Marvel Legends Apocalypse BAF is selling for north of 100 bucks right now all by himself—is he fit to survive for that kind of money?

Sometimes it’s a 3.75″ Marvel Universe-scaled exclusive (like that awesome The Collector’s Vault set with Lockjaw!), and sometimes it’s a 12″ figure (like Daredevil). But this year, it’s something we haven’t gotten before as a Comic-Con Exclusive. The first-ever SDCC Exclusive Marvel Legends life-size replica: the electronic Tesseract–plus a 6″ Red Skull from Captain America: The First Avenger!
Continue Reading →June 2018 was one of the more expensive months ever for Marvel Legends collectors, with three full wave of Marvel Legends going up for sale including X-Men, Spider-Man and Venom series. But don’t take a deep breath and think you’re getting a break just yet, because Hasbro has more goodness lined up: the Deadpool Marvel Legends Sauron Series including Bishop, X-23 Wolverine, Omega Red and more is now up for order!
Continue Reading →Hasbro has done an increasingly good job over the past few years in producing more of the important characters from the various Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, but there are quite a few characters that fell through the cracks. Luckily, Hasbro is giving many collectors what they want and filling in the gaps! We got a first round of POs in the winter and here comes round 2: the Marvel Studios Legends Ant-Man & Yellowjacket, Red Skull, Thor & Lady Sif are now up for order!
Continue Reading →Believe it or not, San Diego Comic Con 2018 begins in under one month! Even so, we hadn’t heard am official peep regarding this year’s Hasbro Marvel Legends exclusives. At least—not until today! After accidentally leaking the set last week, this morning the Hollywood Reporter posted the first official look at the Marvel Legends Netflix Defenders Box Set including the first Netflix Colleen Wing and Iron Fist figures!
Continue Reading →While Avengers Infinity War will go down as one of the most legendary superhero team-up movies in history, it didn’t just feature many beloved existing characters interacting—it also introduced some significant new villains to non-comic book readers in the form of Thanos’ Black Order. Proxima Midnight was the sole representative in the first wave of Infinity War Marvel Legends, but she’s got some large help now. The Marvel Legends Cull Obsidian Build-A-Figure is on the scene and selling for $60+ on the aftermarket: is it worth building this big boy?
Continue Reading →Marvel Legends Infinity War Wave 2 is a pretty weird series, as the set is split three ways between characters from the comics and the Ant-Man and the Wasp and Avengers Infinity War movies. But not only is the Cull Obsidian Series an unusually eclectic mix—it’s also been unusually hard to find in stores. And among the harder figures to come by is the one new comic book-based figures in the wave: Marvel Legends Black Knight…
Continue Reading →UPDATE (6/18/2018): For those who missed out on the life-size Marvel Legends Star-Lord Helmet last year and have been kicking themselves ever since because of the crazy $150-$200+ aftermarket prices it’s been selling for lately, you’re in luck–Amazon has put some leftovers of the electronic Star-Lord helmet back up for sale at the original $99 MSRP! I haven’t heard anything about this helmet getting a full reissue from Hasbro, so this may well be the last chance to grab this for a decent price if you need it!
Continue Reading →What, three full waves of new Marvel Legends figures going up for pre-order in two weeks still isn’t enough for you?! Well, Hasbro certainly hopes not, because they also solicited one more new figure box set this week! First shown at New York Toy Fair 2018 back in February, the 6” X-Men Marvel Legends Wolverine Motorcycle set is now up for order! If anyone’s motorcycle is going to come close to being as cool as Ghost Rider’s (because it’s sort of the same motorcycle), it’s Logan’s!
Continue Reading →It may be time to start building an ark, because the Hasbro flood of new Marvel Legends figures this month doesn’t seem to be letting up! This time, it’s not another whole new series of figures, though—it’s just one three pack of upgrading figures many collectors may have missed! The 6” Marvel Legends Infinity War 3-Pack of Thanos (with new head!), Doctor Strange and Iron Man is now up for order!
