Not every character out there is ideally suited for being made into an action figure wearing soft goods clothing. But of all the characters Mezco has picked thus far for their Marvel ONE:12 Collective series of 6″ figures, there’s no better choice than the Sorcerer Supreme. With his robe and long, flowing cape, Doctor Strange was made for soft goods. And now, he’s officially being made in them: the Mezco ONE:12 Collective Doctor Strange figure is now up for order!

Earlier this month we got our first peek at a major SDCC 2017 Exclusive Marvel toy when photos of the Marvel Legends Thor set of figures leaked out. But now, it’s time for an official, intentional announcement from Diamond Comics! As usual, Diamond Select Toys has multiple Marvel SDCC Exclusives lines up–and this year, it’s in the form of the two SDCC 2017 exclusive Marvel Gallery Statues: Superior Iron Man and X-Men Deadpool!
Continue Reading →It’s been a rather slow couple of days, but if there’s one character suitable to break us from the monotony of our humdrum lives, it’s the Merc with loads of merch–Deadpool! Believe it or not, this 6″ Deadpool figure was actually announced over 15 months ago, and Revoltech Deadpool has been announced, revealed and shipped in that period. But at long last, the time has come: the Max Factory Figma Deadpool figure is now up for order!
Continue Reading →Earlier this week, Mezco Toyz threw Marvel collectors a curveball when they announced and opened up pre-orders for not one, not two, but three Previews Exclusive ONE:12 Collective Marvel figures! While the trio of PX exclusive figures went up for order earlier this week with only low-res photos available, Mezco has now unleashed glorious glam shots of Black Costume Spider-Man, X-Force Deadpool and X-Force Wolverine!

And this year, it’s Star-Lord’s turn to get the deluxe electronic treatment! The 12″ Music Mix Star-Lord figure is now available for about 20 bucks shipped–and while he won’t be for everyone, I think he’s pretty rockin’ (for a Titan Hero)…

Get those wallets out, because these are variants a lot of you have been asking for–ONE:12 Collective Black Costume Spider-Man, X-Force Deadpool and X-Force Wolverine are now up for order!

For the first time ever, The LEGO Group (TLG) is releasing movie sets to coincide with the release of a Thor movie–this fall’s “Thor Ragnarok” movie! The builds themselves don’t look that grandiose, but that’s not what people really buy LEGO Marvel sets for. Get ready for the first-ever minifigures of Gladiator Hulk, Thor with a helmet, and even Hela!
Continue Reading →Someday–someday–the sheer quantity of Deadpool figures and statues out there is going to exceed the market’s demand for Wade Wilson merch. But it is not this day! In fact, one of the most creative and unique pieces of Deadpool merch that I’ve seen to date has just been fully unveiled and put up for order today! Coming from the Good Smile Company, the Deadpool Breaking The Fourth Wall Statue is now up for order!

So it’s not a big surprise that as pre-orders for the leader of the Figuarts Guardians of the Galaxy open up overseas, we’re getting them domestically too: SH Figuarts Star-Lord (with purple explosions effects!) is now up for order in the U.S.!
Continue Reading →With the new Marvel Legends Spider-Man Homecoming Wave and Vulture two-pack appearing out of nowhere and Black Panther and Invisible Woman still MIA, I’ve given up guessing when and where new Hasbro Marvel Legends 6″ figures will be released. But one set that we don’t have to guess about is the Toys R Us exclusive Marvel Legends Mary Jane & Spider-Man two-pack, which has now been released overseas! Let’s check out the in-hand photos…
Continue Reading →There’s no question that the Marvel figure collecting landscape is getting a little bit crowded over the last few years. There’s more Marvel toys coming out than ever before, and it can be difficult for new lines to find traction. But one new line of Marvel action figures that’s quickly becoming a fan-favorite is the Revoltech Ame-Comics series, which started last year with Deadpool, and is now preparing to launch its second X-Men related character: Revoltech Wolverine!
Continue Reading →Sometimes when Square-Enix reveals new Marvel Play Arts Kai figures at a show, we wait around for what feels like all of eternity (okay, like half a year) for them to go up for order. But this is not one of those times! Just about two months after being unveiled unpainted at the 2017 Toy Fair in New York City, not only has PAK Magneto been solicited, but now the Play Arts Kai Doctor Strange figure is also up for order!
Continue Reading →Darn it, Loot Crate! Just when I thought I was going to get through this month without having to order any “supplementary” mystery boxes to my usual Powered by Funko subscription boxes, they just had to go and send out April 2017 Loot Crate Spoilers this morning that reveal the best exclusive in this month’s box. The Marvel Legends Jessica Jones figure is still months away, but in the meantime, you can use this QMX figure as a placeholder: the Loot Crate Investigate Box including an exclusive Jessica Jones Q-Fig closes for orders tonight!
Continue Reading →Bandai Japan announced that they had acquired the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 license a few months back, but I started getting a little fidgety wondering if they were actually going to use it when April arrived and we hadn’t seen a single prototype. But while there’s still no word on what characters will be in the S.H. Figuarts GOTG Vol. 2 lineup, we at least know one figure that is on the way: the SH Figuarts Star-Lord figure has now been revealed!
Continue Reading →UPDATE 4/8/2017: We weren’t absolutely sure until it happened, but the Bandai S.H. Figuarts Spider-Man Homecoming figure is now up for order in the U.S.! And better still, we’ve got two different options for ordering him! Along with the $65 and free shipping Japanese versions at that link, Bluefin Distribution will also be distributing a U.S. Exclusive version of Homecoming Spidey with a “Tamashii Option Act Wall”… for $35 more. Which option (if either) are you opting for, Marvel collectors?
