SDCC 2016 Marvel Legends Wolverine X-23 Figure

Day One of San Diego Comic-Con 2016 is underway! Hasbro is still keeping the bulk of their major Marvel Legends announcements under wraps until the SDCC Hasbro Marvel panel, but they’ve still shown off a healthy number of upcoming, never-before-seen figures during the first day of the convention as well. Among these showings are eleven new Marvel Legends 4″ figures, which happen to include a despot Hulk, a living tree, an anthropomorphic raccoon and yes–even the world’s best squirrel mercenary, Squirrel Pool!

Play Arts Kai Wolverine Figure

Given the rampant bootlegging that went on with the Square-Enix Play Arts Kai Marvel figures line and the fact that a new (non-repaint) figure hasn’t been announced for the line in over a year now, I really thought the Play Arts Kai Marvel Variant line was done for. But things are not always as they appear, and Square-Enix in fact brought along two major all-new figures to show off at San Diego Comic-Con 2016: Play Arts Kai Deadpool and Wolverine!

TRU Exclusive Captain America Civil War Figures Set with Giant-Man

Due to Disney’s late decision to try to keep merchandisers from revealing the presence of Giant-Man in Civil War, not only were few people surprised when he appeared in the movie, but he didn’t get nearly as much fanfare or as many toys as he should have. But for those who don’t want to shell out $120 for the Marvel Legends Giant-Man Build-A-Figure, a consolation prize has now appeared: an exclusive box set with a 12″ Titan Hero Giant-Man!

Hasbro X-Men Legends Rogue Six Inch Figure Close-Up

Not only is this summer’s Hasbro Marvel Legends X-Men figures series momentous for being the first series of X-Men figures in two years, but it’s also the most female-loaded Marvel Legends series ever, with three female characters present in the lineup! I reviewed the very nice Phoenix figure last week, and tonight I’m taking a look at what I hoped would be the definitive version of one of my favorite X-Women: Marvel Legends Rogue!

Marvel Legends Captain America Metal Shield Prop Replica

Way back in February, Hasbro unexpectedly revealed their line of Marvel Legends Premium Role-Play Prop Replicas, including a super-cool life-size Captain America Shield and Iron Man helmet. Many fans cried foul, though, desiring a genuine metal version of Cap’s shield instead of a high-quality plastic version. And to my surprise, Hasbro has heard and obliged–the Marvel Legends Metal Captain America Shield is now up for order! But it will cost you…

To my surprise, the Marvel Legends Cable figure is still available for order online individually. But it’s not because of any fault of this figure–the X-Men Legends Cable 6″ figure is one of Hasbro’s best figures this year!

SDCC 2016 Marvel Legends Enchantress and Abomination Figures

Such was the case with this year’s Hasbro Marvel Legends SDCC sets. But even though we’ve known the contents for several weeks, it’s still exciting that Hasbro has finally released hi-res photos officially confirming the Marvel Legends The Raft and The Collector’s Vault sets!
