I had been planning on today’s Marvel Legends review being the new 6″ Kamala Khan Ms. Marvel figure, but those plans went off the rails when Kamala’s arm peg broke in half at the elbow. And so, while I hunt for a Ms. Marvel replacement, the former Marvel Universe 3.75″ line gets the spotlight instead tonight! The 4″ Marvel Legends Morbius is currently marked down to $3 online from his $12.99 MSRP, but is this figure really all that bad…?

Let’s face facts: we are going to be absolutely buried in Baby Groot merchandise in just a few months. When all is said and done, we’re probably going to see more items featuring that little sapling than every other piece of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 character put together. So with that in mind, I’ve been waiting to see which Marvel licensee would draw first blood by unveiling the first Baby Groot figure. Earlier this month, my future wallet had a heart attack when it was announced at Tokyo Comic Con 2016 that Prime 1 Studio would be creating 1/4 Marvel statues, starting with Spider-Man 2099 and Anti-Venom. 2016 has been a theatrical breakout year for many Marvel characters, including Deadpool, Doctor Strange and Apocalypse. But when the smoke cleared, Captain America stood triumphant once again with the highest-grossing superhero flick in the land.
