New York Toy Fair 2025 is now underway—and while Toy Fair has certainly diminished immensely since the pre-pandemic days, there’s still enough pomp and circumstance that major toy companies save a few reveals to coincide with the professional event. The LEGO Group is one such company, and on the Marvel front, they announced a major new set today: 76323 LEGO Marvel Avengers Endgame Final Battle! But while this marquee set has a big number of Minifigures and a big price-tag, it has little else to be excited about…
As such, my eyes lit up when I saw that a major new LEGO Marvel set premiered today—but then my eyes got a lot smaller when I saw exactly what the LEGO Avengers Endgame Final Battle 76323 set encompassed.

I think the Ant-Man “La Cucaracha” van would have made a lot of sense here, but we get a weird “Ant-Man mech” that I think is supposed to represent him size-changing instead.
There’s a fallen Avengers ‘A’ logo from the blown-up headquarters on the ground, which I guess is at least -something-, but the terrain still feels mighty unimpressive to me.
The Minifigures selection feels decent, but not anything that really impresses me or catches my attention. A new armored Thanos or members of the Black Order would have been welcome here, but we get a sole Chitauri and an Infinity Gauntlet-less Thanos instead. It feels like it’s going to be a rather lopsided battle with the villainous ranks so thin.
On the heroic side, there are minifigs of Captain America, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Iron Spider Spider-Man, Ant-Man, Wanda “Don’t Call Me Scarlet Witch” Maximoff, Black Panther and Falcon.
I like how insane and scary Wanda looks, and the “broken” shield with Cap is sort of novel, but this still feels like an underwhelming assortment. Thor in particular being absent here feels quite odd.
I know the era of 10 cents per piece licensed LEGO sets ended some time ago, but 16+ centerpiece for a set like this Avengers Endgame Final Battle just doesn’t feel good to me.
What are your thoughts, Marvel collectors, both on this set and recent releases in the LEGO Marvel theme as a whole? Are there still sets you want to see in this range, or do you think TLG may need to give this theme a rest for a while?
