It’s the very last Marvel Legends review of 2017 here on Marvel Toy News! Whether or not I saved “the best” for last I’ll discuss in a bit, but there’s no question today’s figure is the one from the Netflix series we’ve been waiting longest for! Hasbro announced a 6” Blade figure way back in 2012–and 5 years later, he’s finally arrived (with a totally different mold)! For big fans of the Kotobukiya Bishoujo Marvel statues series, 2017 was pretty much a bust. The Bishoujo Ms. Marvel Kamala Khan Statue debuted at New York Toy Fair 2017 in February and shipped in the fall, and, well… that was pretty much it. There wasn’t even a SDCC or NYCC exclusive Bishoujo this year. But the dry spell is finally coming to an end, with a statue that’s just begging for exclusive variants next year: the Kotobukiya Bishoujo Captain Marvel Statue is now up for order!

We’ve still get half a month of 2017 to go, but a top contender for “Best Marvel 6” Figure of 2018” has already appeared! The Kaiyodo Carnage Revoltech figure made its debut at the Fall 2017 Miyazwa Model Exhibition last month, but our quick glimpses there only scratched the surface of the amazing possibilities for this symbiote.
