Although I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from HasCon when it was first announced, the inaugural event turned out to be one of the more unique and focused conventions that I’ve attended. A con where the unifying element is programming and displays of most of my favorite toy brands ever? Sign me up. We’re just one week out from the inaugural HasCon, but before Hasbro makes their HasCon reveals, they had one more figure that they wanted to show off first at FanExpo Canada in Toronto this week. Hasbro said they didn’t want to show the 2018 Marvel Legends Deadpool Series Build-A-Figure at SDCC 2017, and now we know why: it’s because he’s Canadian and wanted to make his grand debut in Toronto! The Marvel Legends Sasquatch Build-A-Figure has now been revealed!

Kotobukiya’s Marvel ARTFX+ line has grown over the past half decade to be a real low-priced statue juggernaut, with lineups from the X-Men, Avengers, Spider-Verse and soon Defenders all represented in 1:10 scale. For those who haven’t heard, Hasbro is kicking off their very own convention this year year, which will features all of their major brands like Transformers, My Little Pony, Star Wars, and of course, Marvel: HasCon. As this is a first time event, I haven’t been too sure what to make of HasCon, but what with it being an hour from my home, I’ll definitely be there. While the majority of the new 6″ Marvel Legends figures that Hasbro announced at SDCC 2017 were expected than unexpected, I don’t think anyone was expecting the three new sixth scale figures premiering at the event. Not only was a Jim Lee Wolverine 12″ figure shown off on display early on in the convention, but during the Hasbro Marvel panel, Marvel Legends 12″ X-Force Deadpool and Agent of Weapon X Deadpool figures were revealed!
