Funko has been uncharacteristically quiet thus far in December, but that streak came to an end this week with a handful of new Marvel products announced. The most notable is definitely the latest addition to the growing garage of Funko vehicles. You may already own a Funko POP Deadpool Taco Truck (in three colors), but it’s time to start again in a new style: the Funko Dorbz Ridez Deadpool Chimichanga Truck is now up for order!

And there’s no figure review more requested than the one I’m discussing today! Those who found one already know how great he is, and those who still need the X-Men Legends Deadpool figure should lock in a pre-order from the restock while they last, because this 6″ Deadpool figure definitely meets and exceeds most collectors’ lofty expectations…
Continue Reading →I’ve already talked about all the traditional heavy-hitters like Hasbro, Kotobukiya and Diamond Select Toys who revealed new Marvel toys at New York Comic-Con 2016, but there’s one more company I wanted to shine the spotlight on.
2016 may be the very first year that Mezco Toyz is releasing Marvel action figures, but their display case full of Marvel ONE:12 Collective figures–including Deadpool and Spider-Man–was a real thing of beauty…
Continue Reading →Unlike past years, Kotobukiya didn’t bring any never-before-seen Marvel statues prototypes to New York Comic Con 2016 this week.
But while we didnt get to see anything totally unannounced at NYCC 2016, we did get to see several updated sculptures in person for the very first time at the event–including the Bishoujo Squirrel Girl and painted versions of the Super Deadpool ARTFX and Vision Fine Arts statues!
Continue Reading →Yesterday I talked about the tremendous trio of Dorbz that Funko has created for New York Comic-Con 2016 next month, but that’s not all that they’ve got lined up for NYCC 2016 on the Marvel front! Two X-Men POP Vinyls figures will also be available at the event, including one long-overdue classic character and one figure that been MIA for long enough to make a whole baby: the 2016 NYCC Funko Kitty Pryde and Chef Deadool POP Vinyls are on the way!
Continue Reading →The Year of Deadpool continues with an unprecedented fifth Kotobukiya Deadpool ARTFX+ statue! That’s right, if the regular red-and-black Deadpool, chimichanga-eating unmasked Deadpool, X-Force Deadpool and Inverse Deadpool ARTFX+ statues just weren’t enough for you, Koto has now got yet another 1/10th ARTFX+ statue lined up to appease the masses! The Previews Exclusive Kotobukiya Super Deadpool ARTFX+ Statue is now up for order–and hey, this time out, Wade’s even getting a new mold (at last)!
Continue Reading →It’s been a pretty slow Marvel toy news week (you know things are bad when I have to make posts about figures being on sale), but we did get at least one bite of appetitizing news–from across the world at the Tokyo Game Show 2016 (TGS), no less! When we last saw the Square-Enix Play Arts Kai Marvel line at SDCC 2016, there were two new unpainted figures on display. And this week in Tokyo, we got to see one of them painted: Play Arts Kai Wolverine!
Continue Reading →I oftentimes say that Funko is planning to conquer the world, and they’re latest announcements are yet more proof that their ambition is expanding. Not content with their popular lines of vinyl figures, blind boxes and plush toys, Funko is broadening their horizons once more: Funko Marvel Lanyards and Party Lights (yes, party lights) are now available for order! Deadpool-themed party (complete with lights), anyone…?
Continue Reading →Hardly a week goes by this year that we don’t see a new Deadpool collectible premiered by some company, but the one Gentle Giant put up for sale this week is definitely not like any other Deadpool toy that’s come before it!
I am normally not an armless mini-bust collector (at all), but sometimes you’ve gotta make an exception, and this is one of those time–the Caesar Deadpool Classic Bust is now up for order!
Continue Reading →And now for something totally different, let’s look at more store-exclusive Marvel figures that have been recently released! I knew that the Diamond Select Toys Deadpool Minimates series was due to hit Toys R Us stores any time now, and I came face-to-face with the whole series this weekend! There’s only one exclusive two-pack in the wave, but it’s pretty, uh… “Smashing”! An in, “Hulkpool… SMASH!”
Continue Reading →It was one week ago that we said goodbye to San Diego Comic-Con 2016–but that wasn’t the only major toy event to close out July: the Summer WonderFest 2016 show also took place in Chiba, Japan last week. And while most of the reveals at the Summer Wonder Festival were based on anime characters, there were two very-anticipated Marvel toys on display as well: the upcoming Revoltech Spider-Man and Deadpool!
Continue Reading →The second full day of San Diego Comic-Con 2016 is in the books, and while Hasbro was more into promoting Star Wars today than Marvel, that doesn’t mean that they didn’t have some big Marvel reveals today as well!
And by “big”, I’m talking 12 inches of Wade Wilson goodness! That’s right, the Marvel Legends 12″ Deadpool figure is the fourth figure in this year’s new sixth scale series!
