I’m sure that tomorrow we’ll be seeing a cornucopia of new Marvel Legends 2018 figures unveiled at the SDCC Hasbro Marvel panel, but in the meantime, other companies get their time in the limelight. I’ve been speculating for well over a year now about the Marvel Legends Deadpool series that I was dead certain was being planned for early 2018 to coincide with the second Deadpool movie, so it was pretty gratifying this morning to finally get concrete confirmation from Hasbro that the rumors are true, and that such a series is officially coming in the winter! While we only got to see about half the lineup so far, it’s a good one, with all-new classic Marvel Legends Domino, Cable and Deadpool figures! Oh, and Black Widow fans…? Hasbro has you covered too!

The drama and pangeantry of San Diego Comic Con 2017 Preview Night is over, and while the big Marvel Legends reveals won’t happen until Saturday night, now we can start taking a look at what has been released thus far–including a full half-dozen Hot Toys Thor Ragnarok sixth scale figures! We’ve got a few hours still until the 2017 San Diego Comic-Con Preview Night begins, but photos of various items that will be displayed tonight at the convention are already starting to leak out. We knew from teasers earlier this week that Hot Toys would have their Gladiator Thor sixth scale figure at the event, but early photos confirm two more figures that are going to be majorly in-demand: Hot Toys Gladiator Hulk and Thor Ragnarok Loki figures have now appeared!

As soon as we got into the spring without any details surrounding the impending release of the Toys R Us Exclusive A-Force box set that was announced at New York Toy Fair 2017 and popped up on ebay a few months ago, I was dead certain that Toys R Us was holding onto the set to use as one of their annual “San Diego Comic Con Exclusives”. A couple weeks back, I was lamenting that the SDCC 2017 Mezco ONE:12 Collective Exclusive for Marvel was X-Men Deadpool, when what I really wanted was one of a million possible costume variants of Spider-Man. We knew–without question–that a Marvel Legends Lady Thor figure was on the way after Hasbro teased us with a photo of her at the 2017 Toy Fair.
