Kaiyodo Revoltech has built up a pretty spectacular collection of action figures over the years, and there’s been a steady demand for many of their long sold-out, out-of-production figures. As such, Kaiyodo is now able to cruise along with their “greatest hits” Legacy of Revoltech figure reissues, bringing back some of the most-requested figures–including the ever-popular Iron Man Revoltech figures! Now, for the first time since in three years–the Revoltech Iron Man Mark V figure is up for order!
And as far as Marvel Revoltech figures go, the Iron Man Mark V Revoltech figure is among the absolute most expensive Marvel import figures out there, as the Mark V regularly sells for $90-$100+ on the aftermarket. Or, at least–it did!
The ever-popular suitcase Iron Man armor from the “Iron Man 2” movie, Kaiyodo originally released the Revoltech Iron Man Mark V action figure way back in December 2012. The figure went on to become one of the most popular Revoltech toys released among American collectors, and the price has grown exponentially–sometimes selling for well over $100 online.
But those who missed the Iron Man Mark V Revoltech figure the first time around are about to get a second chance, as Kaiyodo just announced a re-release of the Revoltech Mark V this week! This winter, Kaiyodo will be bringing back the Tomohide Enoki-sculpted Iron Man Mark V figure to online and specialty shops.
Along with the actual action figure, the Legacy of Revoltech Mark V Iron Man figure will also include four alternate hands, the iconic suitcase (sculpted by Katsuo Taguma), a name plate and a transparent V-shaped figure base.
The LR-024 Legacy of Revoltech Iron Man Mark V reissue is now available for pre-order, with a scheduled release date of February 2015. The $39.99 MSRP that the figure is now selling for is less than half of what it would have cost me to buy this figure a week ago, so I jumped at the chance to grab a reproduction of the figure for the original cost.
Are you happy about the Legacy of Revoltech Mark V Iron Man figure getting a re-release, Marvel collectors? Or would you prefer that Kaiyodo skipped reissuing old figures and concentrated on Iron Man action figures that they haven’t produced before?

Pre-ordered this. Seems like a great deal. Also waiting for the Mark I. I really enjoy the Midas Armor Revoltech.
