Earlier this year, Hot Topic hit the jackpot with one of their hottest exclusives ever: the Funko Rainbow Deadpools POP Vinyls Mystery Boxes! But once we got three of the seven members of the Deadpool Mercs for Money team, we just had to get the other four, right…? And it looks like we are, as a second series of Funko Deadpool Mystery Boxes will be hitting stores later this month–including POP Stingray, Madcap, Slapstick and a “mystery” chase figure!

UPDATE 5/12/2016: The Hot Topic Exclusive Series 2 Deadpool Mystery POP Vinyls are now up for order online! These aren’t gonna last long, Funko fans, so if you want these blind boxes, now is the time! Ratios are 1:3 Madcap, 1:3 Slapstick, 1:3 Stingray and 1:24 Metallic Madcap Chase! How many boxes (if any) are -you- getting?

Everybody loves Deadpool. (Well, except for a few weirdos who don’t.) So when the Hot Topic Exclusive Deadpool Funko POP Vinyls Mystery Boxes came out in the winter, it shocked no one that they were some of the fastest-selling and most-hyped exclusives that Hot Topic has ever had.

And due to the nature of some of these Deadpool Mercs for Money characters’ looks, I’m thrilled to say that this second series is actually going to contain a couple of new molds!

Four figures will make up this second series of Funko Mystery Deadpool POP Vinyls:

• Stingray (New Mold) — Orange Deadpool
• Madcap (New Mold) — Purple Deadpool
• Slapstick (Repaint with Hammer Instead of Sword) — Yellow Deadpool
• “Mystery Figure” (Chase)

Each of the first three figures will be “commons” with an even 1/3 ratio of being in the Deadpool blind boxes. These will be the first toys ever released for Slapstick and Madcap, as well as being one of the first mass-market Stingray items ever released (he’s previously had a Bowen Designs Stingray bust and also a non-articulated metal figure).

Now, seeing as how we’ve got six of the seven members of the Mercs for Money now confirmed, it doesn’t take a master sleuth to determine that the mystery figure must be Massacre, the Latino Deadpool touting a sawed off shotgun and machete.

Now there’s a chase figure that I think is actually gonna be worth the fuss!

UPDATE 5/12: It’s now confirmed that the Chase figure in this series is actually a Metallic Madcap POP Chase. I’m astonished that the seventh figure in the Deadpool Mercs for Money Blind Box series is in fact not the seventh member of the team, Massacre. Astonished.

At least one Hot Topic store in the United States has already allowed some of the upcoming Deadpool Series 2 Mystery Box POPs to slip out, although I’ve heard that the official release date for the series is meant to be May 12th, 2016.

I’ll post an update once Funko confirms the release information for these Funko Series 2 Deadpool Mystery POP Vinyls, as well as sending out order links via the Marvel Toy News Twitter and Facebook Pages once the order links on the Hot Topic website go live.
