Marvel Legends Civil War 3-Pack Hi-Res Photos! Spider-Man!

Last week, Hasbro broke the internet with the reveal of the very first Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) Spider-Man figure shown by any company, followed up by pre-orders being opened for the Marvel Legends Captain America Civil War 3-Pack containing that movie Spider-Man action figure. And by all indications, this has been one of the hottest-selling Marvel Legends multipacks ever–and that’s before we even got to see clear images of the figures! But the wait for hi-res images is over, as Hasbro sent over gorgeous shots of Civil War Spider-Man, Iron Man and Captain America this morning…

Marvel Legends Civil War Spider-Man Photo Hi-Res

I know that more than a few readers were disgruntled about the low-res images that were available of the Hasbro 6″ Captain America Legends Civil War 3-Pack last week, but sadly, those were all of the media that were available to show off those figures at the time.

Thankfully, we don’t have to wait any longer to get our first really good look at the Civil War Spider-Man Marvel Legends six inch figure, as Hasbro PR sent out awesome shots of all three figures in the set this morning.

Having seen Civil War in theaters twice now and thoroughly paid attention to Spidey in the film, I’m content with this Hasbro MCU Spider-Man 6″ figure now. It’s not absolutely perfect, but it’s pretty close and it will more than tide me over until we get an updated Spider-Man figure for his solo movie next year.

Civil War Marvel Legends Battle Damaged Iron Man

Meanwhile, the Battle Damaged Iron Man figure’s paint deco actually looks pretty good now that we can see it clearly. Obviously the ideal would be to have retooled parts of the mold for this figure instead of just painting on battle damage, but as far as repaints go, I think that this one looks quite nice.

The hi-res image of the “Battle-Damaged Captain America” that we were sent doesn’t appear to be Battle-Damaged at all–in fact, Cap looks squeaky-clean as if he’s just been to the spa and gotten his costume back from the dry-cleaners. I’ve reached out to Hasbro to see if this image we were sent is a mistake, as this Cap looks identical to the one that was released in the Giant-Man Series. I’ll update once I hear back.

  1. Fat chance this gets discounted anywhere. I already preordered this last week. Thanks to MTN!

    • LOL. You sure about that? This will be everywhere and there is already Iron Man, Cap and Spider-Man figures flooding the shelves at every retailer that sells Legends.

      • We’ll see. We don’t know which major retailers are supposed to get this set, nor in what quantities. Hasbro very well may not be prepared for the popularity of this set. I genuinely can’t remember what the last Legends 6″ multipack released at multiple retailers even -was-, so Hasbro may be playing it safe.

And while they may be falling off the pegs months from now, I’ve yet to see a single Civil War 6″ figure on the pegs at any store anywhere. I think these sets are going to sell through just fine.

        • this set is a hasbrotoyshop exclusive so you will not see this set in stores

  2. Spidey looks good to me . Painted battle damage on Cap’s Shield is horrible… Why not just give it T’challa claw marks

  3. Spidey looks….decent.
    I’m not exactly impressed.
If that Cap figure isn’t even battle damaged, then I’m definitely going to skip this set. Even if he IS, I’m skeptical.

  4. Pass! Where the f are the rest of the waves? Christ man they aren’t even mentioning anything about the x men wave. What the heck hasbro, going backwards?

    • It’s only May. X-Men probably won’t be out til like the end if summer or the fall….

      • That’s my point,it’s May and we have barely even gotten the latest cap wave. Two waves in stores and that’s it. There has been no mention of anything else. Usually we at least get pre orders or some type of surprise box set. Last year by this time we were made aware of that guardians classic box set. We have barely heard about anything this year since you fair. Compared to last year, we are going backwards.

        • Hasbro is playing things closer to the vest this year across all of their toy brands. It’s annoying because we want to know everything “Now!!!”, but I think in the long run it’ll keep news and reveals more interesting throughout the “slow” parts of the year. Maybe…

          • Key word, maybe. I hope your not wrong but after a year like last year, I feel like not much has been shown or revealed. We got all the waves plus like 5 box sets.

  5. Supposedly, this will see a mass-retail release. I’m really only buying this for Spidey, the alt Tony sculpt and the effects, so I’ll be waiting for that, as opposed to paying more online. I do like the shield, though Panther scratches would have been nice.

  6. Yup, I’ll definitely be taking my paints and dremel to Cap and Iron Man for some more authentic battle damage.

I preordered it at Entertainment Earth, but I’ll probably be cancelling that order if I can get it… well, ANYWHERE else.

    • What do you not like about EE? They have the best shipping packaging I’ve ever seen from a toy retailer in my life, as well as the best return policy and no tax (unlike Amazon and Hasbro Toy Shop). I’ve always been very happy with every order I’ve gotten from EE.

  7. The battle damage should look more like how they were during the final battle.

  9. “All major retailers” renews my decision to wait until this hits clearance shelves.

  10. So if it’s not out till August then that means they might be maken more movie action figures I hate that they are putting none movie action figures to build a figure I mean I can see a couple to help finish the wave but like antman they didn’t even include yellow jacket plus if they don’t do a 6 inch vision it will be the 2nd time they done this all we need is vision, crossbones, antman,Hawkeye and black widow and that would complete my movie civil war action figures and those of you who want the same look out for war machine he’s in a two pack and winter soldier ,falcon, and Scarlett witch has they’re own packages please Hasbro do this you guys are doing a good job
