Hawkeye doesn’t seem to have had nearly the same level of success and mainstream permeation as the other Disney+ Marvel series. I’ve never seen a singular meme or had any friend say a peep to me about the show, unlike even What If? Nor have there been any Hawkeye toys on store shelves just yet. But the Disney+ Hawkeye merch universe is getting a big boost of notoriety today, as the Marvel Legends Hawkeye Kate Bishop and Clint Barton figures are now up for order from the Infinity Ultron Build-A-Figure series!
Fans—and Hasbro—just can’t wait any longer to capture some of that sweet Disney+ buzz, and so it is finally time for the new Clint and Kate (but shockingly, no Lucky the pizza dog!) figures to go up for order, even if their actual release is still a long time off.
We saw renders of both Clint and Kate last year, so there’s no shocking surprises with how these look now that they’re up for pre-sale. We’re not getting Hot Toys-level portraits or anything (nor should we expect to), but I like both likenesses just fine.
While I am still baffled by the omission of Pizza Dog, both archers (who will each be shortpacked at one-per-case in the eventual series cases of 8 figures) will include extra hands, a bow, arrows and a quiver (someone needs to start a #JusticeForPizzaDog campaign for sure!).
Both figures are part of the Marvel Legends Infinity Ultron Build-A-Figure series, featuring the ultimate form of Ultron from the final two episodes of the first season of What If?, and each will also include a piece of the Infinity Ultron BAF (Clint gets an arm and Kate gets a leg, evidently).
Hasbro couldn’t spoil the conclusion of What If? Before the show even premiered, so this Infinity Stone-powered iteration of the character didn’t make it into last year’s What If? marvel Legends Watcher Series. I didn’t like this character nearly enough for Hot Toys to sell me a $400+ 1:6 figure, but sure—I’ll take a 6” Infinity Ultron BAF (with gigantic Lance!) happily.
The Marvel Legends Disney+ Hawkeye figures are now up for order—but alas, we’ll still have to wait quite a while for them. They’re not scheduled to actually ship until next winter, since there’s still several months to go until the 6” figures of characters from other upcoming MCU Disney+ series that will comprise this wave can even be revealed at all.
What did you think of the Hawkeye show, Marvel collectors? Are you anxiously awaiting these action figures from the series, or is it already fading from your mind?
Lame
I think I’d have to see them in person to know for sure. I do know I’m not interested in anything related to the What If? cartoons.
I liked the show well enough. The plot wasn’t anything amazing, but I really enjoyed Clint and Kate’s dynamic, so I’ll definitely be grabbing both figures eventually. And I completely agree, no Lucky? That’s just sad.
Curious about the rest of the wave, I’m guessing it may have upcoming Disney+ stars like Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, etc.
They should have did a marvel zombies line and had zombie thanos as a BAF.
I hope there is an Agatha figure ugh!!!
