Sometimes the stars align and Hasbro can keep a whole wave of Marvel Legends secret until the last moment, and sometimes the stars don’t and the wave is actually in stores internationally before it’s even finished being revealed officially. This latest Disney+ Marvel Legends Hydra Stomper series is the latter occurrence, and seems to be receiving little fanfare even now that it has been announced and put up for order. But with long-awaited characters like live-action Nick Fury, Kingpin and Agatha, does this set deserve to make a bigger splash?

At this point, Hasbro has updated many more Toybiz Marvel Legends figures with their own versions than there are Toybiz ML that haven’t been re-done. But with the subject of today’s review, Hasbro is going for broke by updating a Toybiz figure, doing a new version of a character we’ve seen many times, and also covering a never-before-done character! Hasbro has continued to roll out a couple new 6” Marvel Legends figures for pre-orders despite the reveal and subsequent PO for the Disney+ Legends Khonshu Series earlier this month. Completing the Infinity Ultron Series and giving us a ML Retro Collection packaging type we’ve not seen before from Hasbro, Marvel Legends She-Hulk and Retro Ghost Rider are now up for order!
bro pulled off a whopper of a surprise this week when they totally unexpectedly revealed a never-before-teased wave of Marvel Legends figures: the Disney+ Marvel Legends Khonshu Series is now up for order! One of the more eclectic sets that we’ve ever seen, the wave will give fans more Marvel Zombies, an animated Howard the Duck (with disembodied head Scott Lang!), an intimidating skull-headed Khonshu Build-A-Figure and more!

Hasbro has gotten Marvel Legends collectors pretty well-trained at this point to expect new reveals and announcements from their scheduled Hasbro Pulse Marvel Fan First livestreams. Hawkeye doesn’t seem to have had nearly the same level of success and mainstream permeation as the other Disney+ Marvel series. I’ve never seen a singular meme or had any friend say a peep to me about the show, unlike even What If? Nor have there been any Hawkeye toys on store shelves just yet.
