It’s been a predictably calm and quiet weekend for Marvel toy news, which makes this another ideal time to jump back and look at some more upcoming Marvel toys revealed last month at New York Toy Fair 2018! And once again, I’ll be revisiting the booth that I thought had the best overall showing at the event: Diamond Select Toys. We knew a Marvel Premier Collection Domino Statue was coming prior to the event, but I didn’t expect how good she would look—or that she would be displayed next to a resin Lady Deadpool Statue!

While I posted an insane number of photos across the Marvel Toy News Instagram, Facebook and Twitter pages during the 2018 Toy Fair, there are quite a few upcoming collectibles I haven’t gotten around to talking about at length here on the site just yet.

While I did talk about the classic Marvel Premier Collection Magneto Statue when it went up for sale last month, there’s still two more new resin Marvel Premier Collection statues on deck after Toy Fair: Lady Deadpool and Domino!

The Marvel Premier Collection Lady Deadpool Statue was a gigantic surprise to me, as I often legit forget that that character exists at all—much less is super-popular. The Marvel Select Lady Deadpool figure turned out excellent, though–and must have had equally excellent sales, since now DST is busting out a resin statue of the character.

Sideshow Collectibles is confident enough in Wanda Wilson’s appeal that they put up a $675 Lady Deadpool Premium Format Figure for sale last year, but I think the slightly smaller—and vastly less expensive—Diamond Select Toys Lady Deadpool resin statue will have much better legs in the market.

Rather than the ultra-dynamic pose that Sideshow picked for the character, DST has designed their Lady Deadpool in a more museum-style pose, nonchalantly walking with a katana in one hand and a teddy bear in the other. Wanda looks both confident and cool—while I’m not a huge fan of the character, this is my favorite Lady Deadpool collectible of any kind to-date.

Meanwhile, the long-promised Marvel Premier Collection Domino Statue also debuted at the New York Toy Fair—and blew me away with just how spectacular it looks. Domino doesn’t get a whole lot of high-end collectibles, but this statue is easily going to claim the title of the finest physical rendition of the character ever made.

The whole trio of Marvel Premier Collection Cable, Deadpool and Domino Statues is absolutely incredible—I think this series will quickly become the most in-demand fastest-selling resin Diamond Select Toys Marvel Statues yet.

The Marvel Premier Collection Cable and Deadpool statues are currently up for pre-order and scheduled to ship out in May/June 2018. Both the Diamond Select Toys Domino and Lady Deadpool statues are scheduled to ship in the fall, so I’d expect solicitations for them to appear in the next 1-2 months. I’ll send out alerts via our social media pages once they’re up for sale.
