I mistakenly believed that the lack of mention of any new Marvel Select figures with this week’s solicitations meant no new Marvel Select action figures in October 2014. However, DST was actually holding out on us and keeping a surprise in reserve to debut at C2E2 2014: the previously unannounced, all-new X-Men Days of Future Past Marvel Select Mystique figure!

Earlier this week, Diamond Select Toys/Art Asylum debuted their X-Men: Days of Future Past Minimates figures series. I thought that those were the only mass release product on track for the film, but Diamond Select is on a roll and had one more card up their sleeve: a 7″ Mystique Marvel Select figure from the movie!

I had really thought that we’d be more likely to get Marvel Select Young Magneto or Young Charles Xavier from X-Men: Days of Future Past, but it seems Mystique will be the sole Marvel Select action figure produced for the latest X-Men flick.

Mystique will apparently come with an elaborate White House diorama figure stand.
