SDCC 2025 Exclusive Marvel Legends Savage Land Snap 3-Pack! Sauron! Shanna! Rogue!

Hasbro is going hard with GamerVerse Marvel Legends releases like never before this year, so it seems appropriate that even their San Diego Comic Con 2025 exclusive is video game inspired! Based on the MARVEL SNAP mobile game, the SDCC 2025 exclusive Marvel Legends Savage Land set featuring Sauron, Shanna and Savage Land Rogue figures has been revealed!

I’ve fit to admit: the 2025 San Diego Comic Con has sort of snuck up on me this year. In the past, toy companies would have been hyping their SDCC exclusives months before the event. But here we are, one month away from the show, and the first major announcement of note has arrived from Hasbro.

But don’t think that this year’s Marvel Legends exclusive is an afterthought just because it was announced out of nowhere with little fanfare—this year’s set is actually a pretty great one with a trio of figures we’d be very unlikely to see available at mass retail!

Marvel Snap Marvel Legends Box Set Savage Land Rogue Shanna Sauron Box BackFirst up, we have a tweaked version one of the most-requested Build-A-Figures: Sauron!
It’s tough to believe it’s been nearly 7 years (plus 4 strokes and 1 global pandemic) since I first reviewed the Sauron BAF in 2018, but the calendar does not lie. I loved that figure then, and I still like it now, even if Hasbro hasn’t updated it much for this re-release.

Marvel Legends Sauron SDCC Exclusive Marvel Snap FigureWhile the underlying body mold looks exactly the same at a glance (I would’ve liked butterfly swivels for the winged arms, but I digress), Hasbro has repainted the body, removed Sauron’s original belt and given Sauron a new purple loincloth and some pink hypnosis effects pieces.

Marvel Snap Sauron Action FigureThe hypnotic effects pieces are really unexpected and I dig that Hasbro is adding them to this special release!Marvel Legends Sauron Comic Con Exclusive Figure with Hypnosis Effects PiecesI’m more familiar with a comics-styled beige loincloth for Sauron, but this is a Snap-based figure, so it’s painted to match Sauron’s Marvel Snap card. I don’t love the purple, but I understand why it’s been picked here. Even as mostly a repaint with less-iconic colors, this Sauron Build-A-Figure is a humongous selling point for this con exclusive 3-pack.

San Diego Comic Con 2025 Shana & Savage Land Rogue Marvel Legends FiguresThe other two figures in the set are of a variety that Hasbro typically would shy away from having available at mass retail: scantily-clad women. Whether it’s fully by Hasbro’s choice or a licensing restriction, “risqué” figures like Shanna and Savage Land Rogue are generally reserved for convention exclusives or HasLab projects that won’t be on store shelves.

2025 Marvel Legends Shanna SDCC Exclusive Action FigureMarvel Legends Shanna the She-Devil was actually revealed by Hasbro earlier this spring, although we’re just learning this is how she’s being released now. She’ll complete the Savage Land iconic trio with the 2024 Ka-Zar and Zabu Build-A-Figure. It took a year-plus, but better slightly late than ever!

MARVEL SNAP Marvel Legends SDCC 2025 Shanna the She Devil 6 Inch FigureWhile fans of vintage Shanna may be raising an eyebrow at this figure, Shanna is based on and fully accurate to her modern design. I’m sure we’ll see the retro design again sone day, but this time out it’s the more modern look for Shanna.Marvel Legends 2024 Ka-Zar FigureAmazon still has some of last year’s Ka-Zar available to pair with Shanna, although I have little doubt prices on that figure will quickly inflate with Shanna arriving next month. The sculpt on Shanna’s face and hair are tremendous—I think she’s gonna look super next to her man and Sabretooth Tiger.

Marvel Snap Legends Savage Land Rogue San Diego Comic Con 2025 6" Figure ExclusiveFinally, the set is rounded out by a Savage Land Rogue action figure—for the first time ever in articulated toy form, unless I’m mistaken (though DST released a Marvel Gallery Rogue Savage Land PVC statue a year or so back). Surprisingly, Toybiz opted for a Savage Land Storm 5” figure back in the 90s instead!

I’ve heard quite a few complaints about the likeness on this Rogue portrait, but it’s actually a very strong match to the Marvel Snap card that it’s based upon. If it’s not to your taste, I’m pretty confident a head swap from a different recent Rogue figure should fit A-OK!

This iteration of Rogue has lasted the test of time much better than I’d expect, even getting its own solo comic book series this year. I think this is going to be quite an expensive figure once this box set sells out.Marvel Legends 2025 Marvel Snap Sauron BAF Build A FigureThe Marvel Legends Savage Land SDCC 2025 exclusive set will be available in limited quantities online after the convention next month. Who’s planning to attend San Diego Comic Con next month, and will you be trying to scoop up this 3-pack?

For those not attending, will you try to grab one online? I’ll send out alerts via the Marvel Toy News Facebook and Twitter/X page once the sets go up on Hasbro Pulse, so stay tuned to those if you’re shopping from home.
