EXCLUSIVE Marvel Legends Venom Agony & Riot Set Up for Order!

Hasbro may not have revealed quite as many never-before-seen Marvel Legends figures as some fans expected at San Diego Comic-Con 2022 last month, but they did show a rather diverse variety of characters. And two of those characters are “team” completing symbiotes that haven’t gotten new figures in 20+ years—until now! We won’t have to go out hunting for Riot and Agony to complete the ML Life Foundation quintet—the Amazon Exclusive Venom, Riot and Agony 3-Pack is now up for order!

Amazon Marvel Legends Venom Riot Agony Figures Set

It’s always gratifying to see long-term plans come to a satisfying conclusion, and that’s just what Hasbro has accomplished with the five symbiotes created by the Life Foundation in 1993’s Venom: Lethal Protector limited series!

After giving us Lasher and Scream figures in 2018 and adding Phage in 2020, Hasbro revealed at SDCC 2022 that they’re finally completing the “team” with Agony and Riot. And those two highly-anticipated figures will be coming as part of a hopefully easy-to-obtain 3-pack with a refreshed version of Marvel Legends Venom.

The 3-Pack is carrying a hefty $78 price-tag, but I think Hasbro can pull that off without catching too much shade from collectors in this instance because of the hefty, Build-A-Figure sized body used for Riot. With solo-packed figures retailing for $25 these days, $78 for 3 figures including a deluxe-sized one feels fair.

Marvel Legends Venom Amazon Exclusive Figure

A lot of fans have been wishing for a comic book style Venom Legends figure on the Omega Red body (with shoulder holes plugged with tendrils!) for quite a while now, so even the obligatory action figure of Venom himself in this set is a highly demanded one.

Venom Marvel Legends Exclusive Amazon Head Out Head

It might be too stylized for some fans, but I really, really dig the tongue-out head on this ML Venom body. This just may be my favorite Hasbro Venom portrait ever.

Marvel Legends Agony Figure Exclusive

Probably the last recognizable of the Life Foundation symbiotes is Agony, but her pink/magenta color scheme makes her a favorite of mine. I’m thrilled she’ll be sold in a pack with two more popular characters so Hasbro doesn’t have to fear her warming retail pegs.

The set will come in a slick-looking box featuring artwork by artist Ryan Stegman. The packaging really does look beautiful, so I might hang onto it to use as a display backdrop for the six symbiotes.

Marvel Legends Life Foundation Symbiotes Figures Riot Agony

The Amazon EXCLUSIVE Marvel Legends Venom, Riot and Agony 3-Pack is now up for order, and is expected to ship this winter. I think this has a feasible chance of being one of the most in-demand Amazon Marvel Legends exclusives in a long while, so it’s likely to be worth pre-ordering early if you also have your set on completing the fan-favorite lineup of symbiotes.

Who’s psyched for this set of Marvel Legends symbiotes? Have you been collecting the other three members over the last four years in preparation for this day, or do you need to go back and fill in any blanks now?

  1. And to answer the question: yes, I have Phage, Scream, and Lasher. Hopefully sets like this are a trend that Hasbro takes a deeper interest in so collectors can polish off “teams” faster. Maybe even a few mixed packs addressing stragglers like those of Serpent Society, Maggia, or the Wrecking Crew.

  2. like a dummy i let my niece play with Scream, because she’s my least favorite & the figure did NOTHING to help with that. I had the BAF piece for monster Venom & I figured she’d be around if i wanted it back but she really wasnt on my mind. Lasher is great. i love that fig. i’m a fan of the spiderverse especially the symbiotes BUT i’m now without a Scream unfortunately! An i’ll be darned if i’m gonna buy another at a collector price point NOW! The fig was ugly! haha. how was i supposed to know that she’d disappear. I do love BLUE. my favorite color. BUT i think they went a bit overboard with Riot. i see the grey peaking through but i dunno. overall i’m ALL IN. but there’s always something. Great Set!
