A couple weeks back, Funko went and announced a whole plethora of new Deadpool figures for 2016 in honor of the impending Deadpool movie. But if you thought that that was all the love that Funko was planning to give Wade Wilson this winter, you thought wrong! There are at least a half-dozen more Deadpool POP! Vinyls figures in the pipeline (not counting whatever is in the February Collector Corps box), and two of them have started showing up for sale before Funko can even announce them: it’s the exclusive FYE Blue & Bath Time Deadpool POPs!

It turns out that I finally got that quiet Marvel Toy News week that I was anticipating–my estimates were just off by a week! Whoops. But as we get ready to ring in the new year this week, it’s back to work for Marvel merchandisers everywhere, as new items are starting to be leaked, announced, or even spotted in stores.

And two of those new found items are ones that have never even been officially revealed at all: two retail store-exclusive Funko POP Vinyls Deadpool figures!

First up, we’ve got the Target Exclusive Bath Time Deadpool POP Vinyl figure. I don’t think that this vinyl was meant to be put out until the January 2016 Target store resets, but some stores are completing the reset early and replenishing empty shelves, and thus the Funko POP Vinyls Bath Time Deadpool figure is already being found in the wild (and scalped on the aftermarket).

Bathtime Deadpool gets the unique Marvel number designation of #114, as it adds two all-new elements to the mold of the Thumbs Up figure: a shower cap and a rubber ducky. While Funko produces their Target exclusives in mass, some of them end up being rather tough to find at retail, so definitely scoop this figure up when you spot it if you really want one.

Meanwhile, FYE is getting in on the fun as well with their second Marvel POP! exclusive ever: a blue Deadpool costume Thumbs Up variant! This is just a repaint and has no new molding, so it shares the numbering designation of #112 in the collection.

Luckily, although many folks don’t have a local FYE store, this exclusive is already available online via the FYE website. This simple repaint figure may not be for all collectors, but this is one of my favorites of Wade’s costumes, so I went ahead and placed an order for one already.

…But wait–! There’s more! The back of the box for the Deadpool Bath Time figure reveals another four ‘Pool POPs that haven’t been officially announced yet! This quartet includes three more variations on the Thumbs Up mold and one variant of the Swords mold. The remaining four known Deadpool variants are as follows:

• Funko Pirate Deadpool (with Pirate hat) #113
• Funko Chef Deadpool (with Chef’s hat) #115
• Funko Rubber Chicken Deadpool (holding a chicken) #116
• Funko Cowboy Deadpool (with Cowboy hat and stick horse) #117

And if that’s not enough of Wade for you, keep in mind that the blue FYE exclusive isn’t shown on the back of the box at all, so there could be any number of costume/paint scheme variants out there as well! Yikes! It’s gonna be an expensive 2016 for Funko POP Marvel completists, that’s for sure!
