When Hasbro finally announced their Spider-Man No Way Home Green Goblin figure back in 2023, they definitely weren’t prepared for the demand for that figure. It sold out lightning-fast during pre-orders and just as fast when it actually hit stores. That release has been selling consistently on the aftermarket for $100+, making Spidey’s most beloved movie villain unobtainable to many. But Norman Osborn—and Hasbro—aren’t ones to leave money on the table: an updated NWH Green Goblin based on the Spider-Man 1 look is now up for order!

Rather than take the lazy route and just go back into production and reissue that exact figure, Hasbro has tweaked the recipe to make a Spider-Man No Way Home Green Goblin that will look much more like his legendary 2002 movie self to mainstream fans!
As neat as the 2023 Green Goblin movie figure was (see above photo), all of the extra gear and straps and so forth he came adorned with just aren’t exactly in-line with the character’s most recognizable appearance. But with this release, Hasbro has tossed aside all the extra clutter to create an iconic movie Green Goblin action figure that will pass for a 2002 Spider-Man 1 movie version!
This is still (correctly) branded as a No Way Home figure, though, as it depicts Norman from earlier on in the movie before his mask is blown up. But don’t worry—Hasbro still included a new unmasked Norman Osborn Willem Dafoe head here and even an exploding/broken Green Goblin helmet!
Honestly, I think this is a pretty great pseudo-re-release. The Willem Dafoe portrait doesn’t look as good to me at a glance as the last version’s, but I like everything else we get here. I’m not at all into the add-ons to the costume of the No Way Home final battle look, so this 2002-inspired armor is right up my alley.
Accessories include the excellent Goblin Glider (with some slight paint deco adjustments) on flight stand, two pumpkin bombs, swappable hands, a recolored Nightcrawler “BAMF!” Explosion effects piece, and the aforementioned broken Green Goblin mask and swappable Willem Dafoe/helmeted heads.
This is deluxe priced, but at least Hasbro is making sure enough is included this time to make that MSRP worthwhile. And given that the last version of ML Green Goblin from NWH has been selling for well over 100 bucks for a long time now, I don’t think fandom will be too upset paying close to the original MSRP for this new release instead.
The Marvel Legends 2026 Green Goblin movie figure is now up for order, and shipping out in late summer/early fall. I expect this to be among Hasbro’s most popular releases for the entire year, so it very likely will sell out in pre-orders.
What say you about this new version “No Way Home” Green Goblin, Marvel collectors? Do you prefer this to the previous iteration, or is it a pass for you? And would you like to see any more 2002 Spider-Man Marvel Legends figures produced in the future?
