I was blindsided earlier this week when Kotobukiya announced that they were releasing a Bishoujo Psylocke Classic X-Men Version statue as a SDCC 2014 exclusive. I love Psylocke, so I wasn’t complaining, but I had been absolutely certain that the Kotobukiya SDCC 2014 Bishoujo exclusive would be a variant of the Spider-Woman Bishoujo statue. Well, as it turns out, I was right! Coming to San Diego Comic-Con 2014–the super-limited Metallic Version Spider-Woman Bishoujo statue!
The resplendent gold woman on Spider-Woman’s boots looks phenomenal, and the shiny red paint that makes up the majority of Jessica Drew’s costume looks far superior to the matte red paint on the regular version of the statue.
The Bishoujo Spider-Woman Metallic Version statue will be available exclusively at San Diego Comic Con 2014 at Booth #3345 (Action Figure Express). You can pre-order the statue now from the AFX Website for $80, but note that the statue must be picked up at SDCC 2014–it is not available for mail order.
If AFX has any leftovers after the show to make available online, I’ll post an update to the Marvel Toy News Facebook Page, so keep your eyes peeled if you want one and are not attending SDCC 2014.
Thoughts on the most shiny Kotobukiya Bishoujo statue ever, Marvel collectors? Is this Metallic Version Spider-Woman Bishoujo your Spider-Woman of choice, or are you good with the flat-colored version of Spider-Woman (or none at all)?
Sexy.
