No Marvel collector can deny that last year’s Marvel Legends “GamerVerse” Marvel vs. Capcom figures series was a smash hit, bringing fans long-demanded characters and awesome renditions of familiar ones. So it’s no surprise that Hasbro announced at SDCC 2026 this weekend that they’re going back to that well (under the newly revranded “Marvel Games” banner), with some repaints, some new characters—and even a Giant made-to-order Sentinel!

Hasbro’s Marvel panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 wasn’t as jam-packed with reveals as prior years, partly due to not being able to debut their Avengers Doomsday Marvel Legends figures during the panel (they’ll be shown at the Hasbro booth on SDCC Sunday instead).

But Hasbro did still premiere some great toys to please comic book and video game fans during the panel! I’ll talk about all the figures in-depth as they go up for order, but here’s a quick rundown of the Marvel Games reveals…

The big reveal of the whole Hasbro Marvel panel at SDCC was the brand new, 11” tall Marvel vs. Capcom Sentinel figure. As is necessary, it’s 100% newly tooled and towers monstrously over the typical 6” ML figures.

Sentinel’s near-iconic Rocket Punch is present for this figure, and he also comes with an open-mouthed head to spew energy from. All that’s missing is a bunch of mini Sentinels for him to order to attack his foes!

I played a lot of hours of MvC2 using Sentinel and always dreamed of a big figure of him, but it seemed like a totally out of reach fantasy.

I am ecstatic to get this guy, even though the $100 price-tag on him has led to some fans griping already. As a made-to-order Hasbro Pulse Exclusive totally new figure that’s huge and bulky, I think the cost is fair here.If you’re on the fence, you have until September 7th (when pre-orders close on the Hasbro Pulse website) to decide if this radical robot is for you.

And speaking of my dreams—! My mind is still blown by the amazing Shuma-Gorath (Gargantos) figure that I finally got last year, and now Hasbro is bringing him back in his default magenta pink color from the earliest Capcom Marvel fighting games!

I immediately wanted this palette swap once the green version was revealed, so I’m pleased as punch with this. Pre-ordering details will be revealed for pink Shuma-Gorath at a later date.Dwight on the Hasbro Marvel team said he’d like to see orange and black variants made of Gargantos later on, and so would I.

The two most popular figures from last year’s GamerVerse two-packs are also making a comeback as quasi-repaints now paired together: Wolverine and Psylocke.

The Wolverine is in his yellow/green colors for MvC2. All of his costumes in that game were primarily yellow, and I think green as the secondary color was probably the most interesting of the choices available. However, Bone Claws Wolverine specifically didn’t get the green colorway option, making this choice feel a bit weird here. I like the new head and the bone claws on this iteration of Logan, but the inaccuracy of this figure being a colorway Bone Claws Wolverine couldn’t be doesn’t thrill me.

Psylocke is now in bright magenta pink, which is eye grabbing to be sure. She’s got a Crimson Dawn marking over her eye and also includes a katana that her last release was sadly missing. Reminiscent color-wise of the Outback era Psylocke I just reviewed and didn’t like besides the colors, this is the kind of crazy recolor I can really get into.

The one other new Marvel Games 2-pack Hasbro premiered at their panel was Marvel vs Capcom 2 Spiral vs Iron Man. Marvel Legends Spiral was a basically perfect figure when I reviewed her in 2023, and one of the best figures of that year. Making her available again with tweaked colors is fine by me.

Far more interesting, however, is the 100% all-new Iron Man figure. Hasbro remade this Iron Man from the ground up to make him as game-accurate as possible, with a more ripped torso and new beam effects. Plus, he now has the very popular and very useful butterfly swivel shoulders, so he’ll be a lot more poseable.

The Iron Man v Spiral pack goes up for sale August 27th on Amazon & Fan Channels like EE and BBTS. An excellent pair overall, particularly for those who missed Spiral the last time around.

Hasbro has said that more Marvel vs Capcom figures are on the way, and I’ve got my fingers crossed for Hulk, Colossus and Gambit.
