Sideshow Lady Deadpool EXCLUSIVE Statue Up for Order!

Have you ever dreamed of owning a humongous, $675 quarter-scale statue of a female alternate dimension Deadpool who only appears in a couple dozen comics, slicing a bullet in half in midair and kicking a decapitated zombie head with dynamite in its mouth? If so (wait, does that person actually exist?!), Sideshow Collectibles has just the thing for you: the Sideshow EXCLUSIVE Lady Deadpool Premium Format Figure is now up for order!

Sideshow Collectibles Exclusive Lady Deadpool PF Statue

Sideshow didn’t show nearly as many new Marvel Premium Format Figures at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, with the only two new painted prototypes ready to display being a Magneto (who’s gotten a mixed reception) and the subject of today’s article: Lady Deadpool.

I was shocked when the Kotobukiya Lady Deadpool Bishoujo statue reportedly sold well, but that was just a $70 PVC statue. Sideshow Collectibles, on the other hand, is looking to cash in on Wanda Wilson’s apparent popularity with a statue costing nearly ten times that!

Sideshow Lady Deadpool Statue Kicking HeadpoolMy jaw pretty much hit the floor when I saw that Sideshow had set a price of $675 for the Premium Format Lady Deadpool Exclusive statue. While this price is still 25 bucks lower than the Sideshow Premium Format Heatseeker Deadpool that went up for sale last year, the difference in popularity between the two characters is exponential (to say the least).

Back of Lady Deadpool Sideshow Premium Format FigureSideshow has seemingly planned for the Lady Deadpool EX to be less popular by setting the edition size on the piece to LE 750 ahead of pre-orders, but considering that popular characters like Rey from The Force Awakens, Groot and Gamora all ended up with LEs of 500 or less, I think Sideshow is likely going to be stuck with many exclusive editions of this piece for a long, long time.

Sideshow Deadpool and Lady Deadpool Premium Format Figure StatuesThe Sideshow Premium Format Lady Deadpool figure stands 22″ tall and is captured atop a destroyed red scooter in a crazy, frenetic pose that will complement the dynamic Heat-Seeker Deadpool statue quite nicely.

Sideshow Headpool Premium Format Figure Accessory Lady DeadpoolMy favorite detail of this piece by a mile is the fact that you can choose to have Wanda kicking either a missile or a swap-out Headpool head with dynamite in his mouth. I was convinced that Headpool would be the Exclusive accessory with the EX, but looks like Sideshow felt like he was too good of a selling-point to miss!

Sideshow Lady Deadpool Exclusive Unmasked HeadThe actual Exclusive item is one of the most popular choices as far as EX bonuses go, though: an interchangeable second head. In this case, it’s the drop-dead gorgeous, totally not scarred head of Wanda Wilson herself!

The Wanda Wilson portrait adds $20 extra to the cost this time out (a new trend at Sideshow I’m not at all crazy about), and it’s a head that relatively few collectors are likely to want to display over her default look.

Sideshow Lady Deadpool Premium Format Figure Statue PosterThe Sideshow EXCLUSIVE Lady Deadpool Premium Format Figure is now up for order, and is scheduled to ship out in May 2018. Sideshow is hyping the fact that she’s a limited edition of “only” 750, so I guess it’s not impossible that she could sell out early, but I have a hard time believing that there are 750 hardcore Lady Deadpool fanboys out there willing to shell out $700+ after shipping for this statue. I guess we’ll see!

What do you think of the first-ever high-end Lady Deadpool statue, Marvel collectors? Am I being too harsh on this piece (I apologize profusely to any Wanda Wilson fans I’ve offended in this article)? Are you willing to drop 675 buck plus shipping on a statue of such an obscure character with only a couple dozen appearances?

  1. Ugh. No thanks. And that (default) headsculpt. Does anyone really want the illusion of a mask so thin that you can recognize the person underneath? It looks unnerving to me. If someone gave me this thing, I think I’d actually display it with the Elizabeth Banks head.

  2. Is no one else bothered by her hair length being different between the heads?
