Disney+ Moon Knight Marvel legends Figures! Funko POP! Hot Toys!

The once-unthinkable happened last week, when longtime niche “B-List” fan-favorite character Moon Knight became a household name to millions and millions of Disney+ viewers who had never been exposed to the character previously. And a new boost in notoriety also means new merch! Hasbro, Diamond Select Toys, Funko, Hot Toys and more are all answering the call with newly-revealed Moon Knight figures, including Marvel Legends, Marvel Select and even POP Vinyls!

By now, we all know the drill: as soon as a new Marvel Disney+ series debuts, a slow trickle begins of product reveals and announcements that will continue until well after the final episode’s premiere (with the exception being Hawkeye, which apparently no one cared about).
Moon Knight will be no exception to this trend, as the first collectibles have now been revealed following the Disney+ Moon Knight premiere a few days back!

Of most interest to regular readers of this site will be the 2022 Marvel Legends Moon Knight figures, of which two have now been officially revealed.Marvel Legends Moon Knight Disney+ Figure Revealed

Hasbro confirmed that standard costumed Moon Knight will be part of the 7-figure Disney+ Marvel Legends Infinity Ultron Series and will go up for order next week, but the fun doesn’t end there: Marvel themselves revealed an upcoming 6” Marvel Legends Mr. Knight figure, which presently has no confirmed manner of release.

While we’re evidently not getting an unmasked Oscar Isaac portrait with this new live-action Moon Knight Legends figure, there’s still a phenomenal level of detail that blows away the disastrous Marvel Select Moon Knight re-release coming our way from Diamond Select Toys (more on that shortly).

Marvel Legends Mr. Knight Figure

Mr. Knight definitely smells like a solid store exclusive release to me, and is a definite must-have even for comic book-only Moon Knight fans, as Mr. Knight is perhaps Warren Ellis’s greatest contribution to the MK mythos.

Marvel Select Moon Knight Exclusive Repaint Packaged

Okay, so back to the “new” Moon Knight Select figure from DST: Diamond Select has been catching some shit from collectors for this release, and maybe it’s well-deserved in this instance since is not even close to a new action figure at all, but in actuality a slightly tweaked reissue at a much higher price of the decade-and-a-half-plus-year-old figure that Diamond Select released long before I’d even started this website.

Marvel Select Moon Knight Packaged Original 2006 Figure

Marvel Select figures have improved on a monumental scale since their old comic-based Moon Knight toy was released in 2006 (original version shown above), so it’s a shocking disappointment to see that old poorly-articulated figure making a Shop Disney Exclusive comeback with some fresh MVU-inspired paint and a loftier $29.99price-point.

Marvel Select Moon Knight 2022 Figure

Diamond has confirmed that Moon Knight will include an all-new temple doorway diorama (shown above) as a pack-in, but that’s actually a bit of a bummer since it will be replacing the old Khonshu statue that was many collectors’ favorite part of the figure. The temple doorway diorama piece also looks quite generic, sadly.

Funko POP Moon Knight Disney+ Figures

On the Funko front, three new pre-orders opened up this week: a Moon Knight POP Covers figure with a cardboard backdrop of the vintage Moon Knight #1 comic book cover and a jumping Disney+ Moon Knight in standard POP Vinyl figure and Pocket POP keychain sizes. There’s also a retailer exclusive Glow in the Dark version of the Jumping Moon Knight POP.

Moon Knight Funko POP Covers Figure

I actually think the Moon Knight POP Covers figure looks extremely cool, but I straight-up hate the space-sucking and unnecessary 11” cover backdrops this line includes. I probably have enough keychains to last a few lifetimes already at this point, but I might be unable to resist the charm of that Moon Knight Pocket POP anyway.

Iron Studios Moon Knight Statue 1 10 Scale Resin

Finally, on the high-end front, we’re getting a slick resin Iron Studios Moon Knight 1:10 statue in the MCU style, as well as a Disney+ Hot Toys Moon Knight sixth scale figure. The tall base (he has the high ground!) and sculpted cape of the Moon Knight Iron studios statue is definitely calling to me, and I’m pleased Iron Studios is still managing to keep the majority of their line of statues at under 200 bucks.

Moon Knight Hot Toys Sixth Scale Figure

While Hot Toys has revealed the official photography of their Moon Knight MMS, they haven’t actually opened pre-orders yet. I assume we’ll see those opened up in the next 10 days, although there’s absolutely no rush on pre-ordering Hot Toys 1/6 figures anymore. I’m not exactly stoked about this Moon Knight Hot Toys, as it primarily seems to be a plastic figure with very little soft goods on top.

Have you started watching Moon Knight on Disney+ yet, Marvel collectors? What do you think so far, and do you think merchandisers are hitting the mark with the corresponding Moon Knight collectibles?

  1. Something about the Marvel Legends MCU Moon Knight figure looks off to me…maybe it just looks too bright?

Mr. Knight looks fantastic though. And I don’t normally get statues, and I likely still won’t get this one, but I have to admit it looks pretty sweet.

  2. The Select Moon Knight looks like garbage. Just as bad as the No Way Home black suit Spider-Man. I’ve been a fan of theirs for a while but they are missing the mark lately.

  3. Should of just repainted and repackaged the whole DS figure. Khonush’ s statue was an awesome bonus
