Funko Dressed to Kill Deadpool POP Vinyl Up for Order!

From being a chef and a cowboy to choking a rubber chicken and coming out of the bath with a rubber ducky, Funko Deadpool has done pretty much everything there is to do. Everything there is to do, except… dressing up for a hot date and a night on the town! Thankfully, Funko is now rectifying this grievous oversight with their latest release: the Exclusive Funko Dressed to Kill Deadpool POP Vinyl and Dorbz figures are now up for order!

Funko Deadpool Dressed to Kill POP Vinyls Figure

I know that for some Marvel collectors, we are rapidly approaching the point of Deadpool overkill as far as merch goes this year. And to those readers, I apologize.

But my personal philosophy is that you can never have too many Deadpools–especially ones that are comic-based and have never been done before by any company, like Funko’s latest creations!

Basically, the Funko Deadpool Dressed to Kill POP! Vinyl exclusive figure is a standard Deadpool head on a slick black suit-wearing body. With his dressy red tie and handkerchief, Wade is the classiest-looking masked mercenary I’ve ever seen!

This suited body mold definitely hasn’t been used for any previous Marvel POP Vinyls, and I don’t recognize it from any other previous Funko releases, so I think this Deadpool Funko POP may be an all-new mold besides the head!

Funko Dressed to Kill Deadpool Dorbz Vinyl Figure ExclusiveAnd for those whose tastes swing in a different direction, there’s also a Dorbz Dressed to Kill Deadpool figure now available for order as well. Dorbz can be pretty hit or miss, but I actually think that the Dressed to Kill Deadpool Dorbz figure is way cuter than his POP counterpart in this instance. Oddly enough, this will be the fourth Marvel Dorbz figure wearing a suit released this year, with Matt Murdock, Kingpin and Vision previously being released in classy attire.

The Funko Dorbz and POP Vinyls Dressed to Kill Deadpool figures are now up for order, and are scheduled to be released in late summer 2016. These are Previews Exclusives, so they’ll only be available via specialty stores and comic book shops, and not big retailers like Walmart, Toys R Us and so forth. No word yet on exactly how limited of a run these exclusives will be, but I suspect they’ll be a bit harder to find than your typical Hot Topic exclusives and such.

What do you think of Funko’s latest take on Deadpool, Marvel collectors? Is this a fun new addition you’ll be adding to your collection, or are you getting ready to barf from Deadpool over-saturation  at this point?

  1. You say “….scheduled to be released in late summer 2016” – EE has it listed as “Coming in January 2017” for the Dorbz and August 2017 on the POP! So, whats the real time for release?

    • The release dates on EE’s website never mean anything, as the initial dates they put up for pre-orders are almost always months later than they actually receive and ship items.

According to Funko’s Periscope, the Dressed to Kill Deadpools are due out in late summer, which puts them on-track for late August 2016.

      • Ah, ha! I can see now said the blind man. And BigBadToyStore lists the Dorbz as arriving in July. One says early other says late, LOL. I’ll take it from you. Thanks DK – you the man – have a chimi on me ^_~

  2. This body mold has actually been used before. It is the exact body mold the used for Saul Goodman from the Breaking Bad spinoff seried Better Call Saul. If you look it up you’ll seet it. This isn’t the first time Funko has reused the same mold if you can recall they reused their Avengers Hawkeye head for the Unmasked Ant-Man Collector Corps Exclusive. All good though! Still gonna get this dashing Deadpool because like you said, “you can never have too many Deadpools!” 😉
