It’s been quite a while since there was a new GameStop Exclusive Marvel Legends figure for fans to look forward to and/or fear missing out on. But that streak came to an end today, with an unexpected Marvel Legends Mister Negative & Inner Demon figures two-pack going up for order! Fans have been waiting for a 6″ Mr. Negative Legends figure for years–will this one satisfy their needs?

Mr. Negative may still seem like a relatively new addition to the legendary Spider-Man rogues gallery, but at this point the character has been in existence for just over 15 years and appeared in cartoons and video games, as well as making numerous comic book appearances.

It seemed like a sure thing that we’d be getting a 6” Marvel Legends Mister Negative figure to coincide with his appearance in the 2018 Spider-Man video game, but instead Martin Li had to settle for a 4” figure in a poor-selling two-pack with video game costume Spidey. After that, it seemed like poor Mister Negative might slip back through the cracks forever.

But fear not! Aunt May’s old boss is finally arriving in 6” figure form as a store exclusive—and he’s even bringing one of his criminal henchmen, the Inner Demons, along for the super-articulated figure ride!

While the Inner Demons are certainly some of the coolest-looking and most distinctive goons in the Marvel Universe, I never dreamed we’d be getting Hasbro action figures of Mr. Negative’s Enforcers. Just goes to show that we truly are in the Marvel toys golden age!

Hasbro went all-out to make these criminal henchmen cool, too—they come with multiple mask options and a ton of other display choice accessories, including guns with both firing effects and smoke effects! These are some of the most fun “goons” Hasbro has done yet.

The one big bummer here is that it won’t be cheap to army-build a gang, as you can only snag one Marvel Legends Inner Demon per two-pack with ML Mister Negative purchased. Given the $50 MSRP of this pack, even army-building a gang of 2 or 3 Inner Demons sure won’t be cheap!

The Marvel Legends Mr. Negative and Inner Demon figures two-pack is now up for pre-order on Gamestop’s website, with an expected arrival this winter. The PC release of the Spider-Man game and the army-builder included May drive up demand for this pack, so you might want to pre-order if you want to be assured the long-awaited primary antagonist of the game.
