UPDATE 6/19/2019:In a surprise twist, while he’s a web exclusive overseas, it turns out we’re getting an official release of the SH Figuarts Avengers Endgame Hulk in the United States after all! This Endgame Hulk still sure ain’t “cheap”, but I’ll take 85 bucks shipped over 150+ any day! Anyone have a change of heart on this Bandai Tamashii Hulk movie figure after the new change of cost cut the price almost in half?😅

ORIGINAL 6/17/2019: For whatever reason, the Bandai Tamashii SH Figuarts Infinity War figures weren’t as big of a hit as expected domestically, with many of the figures still available a year after orders opened and some even after being discounted. Presumably because of this, we’ve seen a far narrower selection of the Endgame figures getting released in North America, and even seeming sure-things are remaining overseas exclusives. Even the Jade Giant isn’t immune to exclusivity, as he’s not getting a domestic release. But if you’ve got to have him, the SH Figuarts Endgame Hulk figure is up for order in the US on BBTS now…

While Bandai Tamashii Nations gave us the wonderful gift of a very healthy and deep selection of characters in S.H. Figuarts form to complement the Avengers Infinity War movie, they may have been very disappointed in the sales for a lot of those figures—because they have drastically cut down on the number of characters we’re getting stateside from Endgame.

Characters like Hawkeye and even Iron Man Mark 85 have gone without a domestic release, and we can add another big name to the list of Asian Exclusives: the Hulk in his Team Suit/Quantum Suit!

Considering Hasbro opted to do a more standard-looking shirtless Hulk, I know a lot of collectors were planning on filling the Team Suit Hulk hole in their collections with Bandai Tamashii’s version. But with no direct United States distribution for this figure, fans are gonna have a rough time with this exclusive.

“The usual suspects” like Amiami and HLJ aren’t able to carry web exclusives like this Hulk, so options are extremely limited. BBTS is always reliable for US collectors, but in this instance they’re having to charge $153 to offer this web exclusive. Ouch!

The two head sculpts for this Hulk action figure are both decent, but neither of them is compelling enough to get me to drop the relative mega-bucks I’d have to invest to own this 7.5″ figure.

It’s a real shame, because I think the costume looks terrific on this import figure, but 153 bucks puts him outside of the realm of what I’m willing to pay (even if he does include an alternate head and interchangeable open hands). If this was a $20 Marvel Legends action figure or even a Build-A-Figure this would be on my future shelf, but given his exclusivity and high price to obtain, this one’s a pass for me. Sorry, Bruce!

The Bandai SH Figuarts Avengers Endgame Hulk figure is now up for order via Big Bad Toy Store, one of the only domestic-based sources for overseas web exclusives. At over 150 bucks, I’m gonna have to live without a 6” scale version of “Professor Hulk”, but if you know this is a figure you must have, you might want to reserve one soon—even at the inflated price, this will sell out.

Thoughts on this Quantum Suit Hulk Figuarts figure, Marvel collectors? Do you prefer this version to the non-Quantum Suit Legends version we’re getting from Hasbro this year, and if so, are you willing to pay big bucks to get one?
