But today I’m posting my review of another monster of size, price and presence who’s finally arrived at my place! Despite the expense, the Sideshow Juggernaut Exclusive statue is already long sold out, and the regular edition 1:4 Juggernaut maquette is likely to sell out quickly as well! Now that I’ve got him in-hand for a review and photos, was this behemoth worth the insane 1400+ smackers I paid for him…?

Sideshow disappointed some folks by only bringing a singular never-before-seen Marvel statue to New York Comic Con 2019 earlier this month–but luckily, it happened to be the singular most-requested character this year for the popular X-Men series. X-Men Dark Phoenix ended up being a catastrophe at the box office, but by the time merchandisers knew that for absolute certain, there were already quite a few collectibles for the character in the pipeline. Luckily, even if the movie was a total dud, Dark Phoenix toys are almost always popular. One of the dumbest things I ever did as a Funko POP Vinyls collector was sell a bunch of my rare and limited figures for peanuts in 2014 when I wrongly thought the Funko bubble was due to burst. It’s half a decade later and POPs are as hot as ever so clearly I was wrong. One vinyl I foolishly sold for 20 bucks was the ECCC 2013 green Phoenix exclusive, which I’ve never had the willpower to rebuy for hundreds of dollars.
