Although I reviewed all seven figures in the actual Age of Apocalypse Marvel Legends X-Men wave of 6″ figures, there was one last figure in the overall theme I was waiting on to review. And while I never managed to track one down at retail, the X-Men Legends Apocalypse Age of Apocalypse deluxe boxed figure I ordered from Amazon arrived this week. This may be the last AOA figure that we get from Hasbro for a while (but hopefully not forever)–does this world-conquering En Sabah Nur action figure disappoint?

My 2020 Deadpool and X-Force Marvel Legends Strong Guy Series figures have started to arrive, so I’ve finally got the motivation I needed to finish off my reviews of the Age of Apocalypse series. Today I’m looking at a figure that I was hyped for the moment it was announced–but has ended up being the pegwarmer of the series! Jumping back to my series of X-Men Marvel Legends Age of Apocalypse wave figures, today I’m going to check out the token female figure in the series! In one of her most unique looks ever, it’s the Marvel Legends X-Men Age of Apocalypse Jean Grey figure that’s available online now! AOA Jean Grey comes with a whopping zero accessories of her own, but also one of the biggest Build-A-Figure parts ever—does it even out and make her a worthwhile purchase?

If you had asked me a year ago what X-Men characters I never in my life thought would be made as super-articulated Hasbro Marvel Legends, Sugar Man would have definitely been on that list. But that was before Hasbro announced an entire series of Age of Apocalypse figures, defying fans’ expectations by not making the Build-A-Figure Holocaust or Apocalypse or Sabretooth, but instead… the Sugar Man! And so, the Sugar Man BAF has now cometh for those who bought the whole wave! Is this monstrous menace worth assembling…?

X-Men Age of Apocalypse has been my favorite comic book story for over two decades (although Jonathan Hickman’s House of X may end up dethroning it!), so I’ve been chomping at the bit to get this year’s X-Men Legends Age of Apocalypse figures in-hand to review. And while I’ve only received two thus far, I just can’t wait any longer to start the reviews! Although he’s pre-sold out on Amazon and his listing is presently removed, Marvel Legends Wild Child is in-stock for ordering now on EE! Is the first toy of AOA Sabretooth’s little buddy in 25 years worth ordering?
