We’ve known since last year that Hot Toys has acquired the license to make Hot Toys Captain America The Winter Soldier sixth scale figures, but Hot Toys has been pretty mum regarding the lineup (aside from a Photoshopped teaser of Captain America and The Winter Soldier from the start of the year). But luckily, we are now less than one month away from the release of the Captain America 2 movie, and Hot Toys can begin showing their cards. And they did so overnight in a huge way, revealing what looks to be at least four new 1/6 Captain America: The Winter Soldier Hot Toys Movie Masterpiece Series figures…

After the pretty lackluster lineup of Hot Toys Thor The Dark World MMS figures (which consisted solely of Loki and Thor with or without sleeves), I was afraid that Captain America The Winter Soldier would suffer the same fate of limited releases.

I am glad to say that, based on the photo of a workshop of in-progress prototypes that Hot Toys posted overnight, a lack of character selection is not going to be a problem!

As we were all no-doubt expecting, you can see prototypes of both the Hot Toys Winter Soldier and Hot Toys Captain America from the new movie in the photo. What you may not have been expecting was the crazy selection of five different types of Captain America shields!

Just in the photo you can see a pristine red/white/blue shield, a slightly battle-damaged red/white/blue shield, a highly damaged red/white/blue shield, a pristine blue/silver/white shield, and a heavily damaged blue/white/silver shield. No matter what your Captain America shield preference may be, it seems that Hot Toys has you covered!

I wasn’t entirely convinced that there would be a new Black Widow Hot Toys Captain America: The Winter Soldier figure released, but there she is in all her glory! This is the third time a Hot Toys Black Widow figure will have been produced, and she’s looking pretty slick so far. You can see her boots, pistols, alternate hands and what I think is a comm device at her feet.

If you were only looking at the Hot Toys prototype figures on display in the photo and not the accessories (like I was the first time I looked at the photo), you may have missed our first teaser for a character plenty of fans are going to be wanting: the Hot Toys Falcon MMS! While there’s no actual 1/6 Falcon Hot Toys figure on display in the photo, you can very clearly see his backpack on display.

The Captain America The Winter Soldier Hot Toys The Falcon sixth scale figure is presumably a bit behind in development compared to the other characters being produced for the film, but at least we know that he probably will be coming (eventually).
