While the end has come for major conventions in 2018 in the United States, it’s not quite over yet in Japan! Tokyo Comic Con 2018 is in full force this weekend, and although this isn’t a show that Hasbro attends, there are ample goodies to check out from other companies such as Hot Toys, Medicom and Kotobukiya. But the company who’s brought the most new Marvel figures to the show is Bandai Japan, who unveiled a plethora of new 6” figures, including SH Figuarts Captain Marvel, Agent Coulson, Nebula, Scarlet Witch, Loki and more!

Today, Hot Toys posted a photo of the next Hot Toys products that are about to ship out in Asia, and will be hitting the United States 4-6 weeks after that. The update includes four Marvel Hot Toys sixth scale figures (that are still available for order), some of which we’ve been waiting for for close to a year and a half! Finally arriving in our hands this winter: the Hot Toys Star-Lord, Falcon, Igor Iron Man and Starboost Iron Man!

Well, here’s a teaser that I’d be willing to bet nobody saw coming. With San Diego Comic-Con 2014 set to begin in just another day, Hot Toys is still sending out preview images to whet collectors’ appetites. And while many of these SDCC 2014 previews have been fairly typical stuff like new Marvel Hot Toys figures and accessories, Hot Toys hit us with something really out of the blue today.

We won’t know the details until the con opens, but apparently a high-end Hot Toys SHIELD Helicarrier vehicle model is on the way!

I went out yesterday afternoon specifically to see if my nearest Hallmart store had put out their ornaments early so that I could photograph the Marvel and LEGO ornaments. And while the 2014 Hallmark Ornaments were out early, I totally forgot to look at the Marvel ones–instead, I bought the Jawa Sandcrawler and Cantina Band ornaments. They say that good things come to those who wait. And if you were a fan of the movie version of The Falcon in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” in the spring, you’ve definitely had to wait for a quality action figure to be released. Hasbro missed the boat with no Marvel Legends Falcon figure and a mediocre 4″ Falcon, and the Hot Toys Falcon won’t be released until 2015. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel–an outstanding rendition of Anothony Mackie as the Falcon has now come home! The Marvel Select Falcon figure has now been released and is for sale online and in stores!

While it initially looked like The Falcon was going to get a bit of a bum deal when it came to Captain America The Winter Soldier toys, things have turned out pretty smashing for ol’ Sam Wilson in the end. While a Marvel Legends Falcon figure doesn’t seem to be in the cards, there’s an outstanding Marvel Select Falcon figure, a fun Marvel Minimates Falcon, and even a halfway decent 4″ Falcon Hasbro figure. But now the crown jewel of any Falcon collection has been fully revealed and is ready to claim its rightful spot atop the mountain–the Hot Toys Falcon figure is now up for order!
