Hot Toys is preparing to lay siege to collectors’ future dollars when they unveil a multitude of new Movie Masterpiece Series sixth scale figures this week at San Diego Comic Con 2013 including Heartbreaker Iron Man, Gemini Iron Man, The Lone Ranger, Tonto and more. But that’s not all–they’ll also be showing off a now fully-painted final prototype figure to add to one of the most successful Hot Toys lines ever–it’s the long-awaited Avengers Hot Toys Chitauri Footsoldier figure! And could the Chitauri be joined by a Hot Toys gamma-powered alter-ego figure as well this week…?

Even after the Avenger Hot Toys Hulk figure had been available for pre-order for months, many collectors laughed and said it couldn’t be done and the figure would be cancelled. People said that the design didn’t lend itself well to the work that Hot Toys does, or that the figure was just too big to be produced, or that the project was taking too long and would be cancelled.
