Kotobukiya’s Marvel ARTFX+ line of 1/10th scale PVC statues used to rule the land, but in a changing market with increased prices and much more competition, Koto has definitely stumbled a bit in recent times. They unveiled their new high-end line of plastic 1:10 Marvel ARTFX Premier statues at New York Toy Fair, but collector response has been lukewarm thus far. UPDATE: Well, here’s a crazy and welcome surprise! I thought Hot Toys was going to price it at a cool grand, but the Hot Toys Life-Size Nano Gauntlet is up for order for “only” 377 bucks! That’s less than half the price charged for Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet last year! And the 1/4 Iron Man and Hulk versions are both under 150 each! I am shocked and very pleased with this pricing! I am not ashamed to admit that I’ve got a bit of a thing for She-Hulk. Jennifer Walters is pretty much the perfect woman: brilliant, independent, witty, capable and powerful.
