Despite the hundreds of 6” scale Marvel Legends figures that have been released over the last decade and a half, there are still major omissions from the X-Men ‘92 lineup. While perhaps the lack of a Jim Lee Jubilee is still the most keenly felt, there’s another animated-era costume just as high on thousands of collectors’ wish lists. And while we may be waiting a bit longer for this character in Marvel Legends, Kotobukiya has a placeholder for us: the ARTFX+ Professor X in Hoverchair is now up for order!

The 2018 Marvel Legends Deadpool Wave 1 has been incredibly popular and hard to find in stores thus far, and Wave 2 looks to be just as popular with headliners like Bishop, Omega Red and a Sauron Build-A-Figure!

Magneto is hands-down one of the most popular and legendary Marvel villains ever, and has had an appropriately large number of statues released to match his reputation. The thing is, most of those large statues are long sold-out and astronomically-priced on the aftermarket, and not everyone can afford a $700 Sideshow Magneto. But Diamond Select Toys had a major reasonably-priced reveal at the 2018 Toy Fair this weekend, and it’s coming sooner than we thought: the Marvel Premier Collection Magneto Statue is now up for order!

With the “obvious” selections of ONE:12 Collective Homemade Suit Spider-Man and movie Black Panther being revealed in the buildup to New York Toy Fair 2018, I really wasn’t sure what I’d be seeing added to the Marvel ONE:12 Collective series walking into the Mezco Toyz booth at the show. As it turns out, the three comic-based figures debuted were all ones I wouldn’t have guessed: ONE:12 Collective Blade, Cable and Cyclops Figures!

If you were a kid in 90s (like me!), then you’ve got a special place in your heart for the 1990s X-Men cartoon series (it’s not even a question). The costumes seen in that series have gone on to be considered the “iconic” costumes for the characters, and few superhero animated series have managed to meet the high standard of the original X-Men cartoon. And now, for the first time ever, we’re getting PVC statues based on the art designs from the show: a Kotobukiya X-Men 92 Jubilee and Wolverine two-pack is now up for order!

We’ve got just over a month until New York Toy Fair 2018, but already, it looks like perhaps the (literal) biggest Marvel Legends surprise for the show has been spoiled by a most unlikely source: Toys R Us!
