Despite the hundreds of 6” scale Marvel Legends figures that have been released over the last decade and a half, there are still major omissions from the X-Men ‘92 lineup. While perhaps the lack of a Jim Lee Jubilee is still the most keenly felt, there’s another animated-era costume just as high on thousands of collectors’ wish lists. And while we may be waiting a bit longer for this character in Marvel Legends, Kotobukiya has a placeholder for us: the ARTFX+ Professor X in Hoverchair is now up for order!

I’ve fallen off the wagon a bit lately with regards to Marvel Legends reviews, but with Deadpool 2 hitting theaters this week, now seems like the perfect time to start catching up! And so, today I’ll be posting my first Deadpool Marvel Legends Sasquatch Series review, featuring the first Hasbro 6” scale version of a character who’s grown to be a headliner in her own right in the decade-plus since Toybiz did her: the Deadpool Marvel Legends X-Force X-23 (who’s available online now for MSRP)!
Continue Reading →We’ve been living in an absolute golden age of Marvel collectibles for the last few years, but even in this era there are casualties of war that fall through the cracks and are victims of cancellation. But the Man-Thing will not be denied! After being first solicited in 2014 as a 1:4 Statue, he’s back—at half the size and a vastly lower price! The Gentle Giant Man-Thing Statue is now up for order—along with their Marvel Collector’s Gallery 1992 Wolverine!
Continue Reading →While a continuing Marvel Legends Deadpool Series on paper sounded like it could get really old, really fast, Hasbro has actually managed to make the Deadpool Legends highly desirable by sprinkling in characters that are more X-Men related than necessarily Deadpool related. The 2018 Marvel Legends Deadpool Wave 1 has been incredibly popular and hard to find in stores thus far, and Wave 2 looks to be just as popular with headliners like Bishop, Omega Red and a Sauron Build-A-Figure!

Primarily of interest to Marvel collectors, however, has to be the fact that Gentle Giant premiered not one, not two, not three, but four new Wolverine statues at the show! The Marvel Collectors Gallery Brown Costume Wolverine Statue is now up for order! Let’s take a look…
Continue Reading →While we’ve all been deeply immersed in the torrent of Avengers Infinity War figures for the past week, those aren’t the only new Marvel toys that have gone up for sale! Kotobukiya in particular has had a trifecta of new Marvel statues solicited, as the ARTFX+ Iron Fist and 90s Animated X-Men Beast and Cyclops statues are now up for order! Are any of these non-movie PVC figures on your radar? And hey… who’s that bald guy in the floating chair…?!
Continue Reading →Ordinarily, we get to see several Marvel Select figures debut at a year’s New York Toy Fair. But with the embargo on talking about Avengers Infinity War toys still in effect, we got a singular new Marvel Select reveal at the 2018 Toy Fair. Luckily, it’s one fans have been requesting for years: the X-Men Marvel Select Beast figure is now up for order! And Hank McCoy isn’t alone in the new DST solicitations—a brand new Taco Truck Deadpool Marvel Gallery Statue is also on the way!
Continue Reading →Magneto is hands-down one of the most popular and legendary Marvel villains ever, and has had an appropriately large number of statues released to match his reputation. The thing is, most of those large statues are long sold-out and astronomically-priced on the aftermarket, and not everyone can afford a $700 Sideshow Magneto. But Diamond Select Toys had a major reasonably-priced reveal at the 2018 Toy Fair this weekend, and it’s coming sooner than we thought: the Marvel Premier Collection Magneto Statue is now up for order!
Continue Reading →With the “obvious” selections of ONE:12 Collective Homemade Suit Spider-Man and movie Black Panther being revealed in the buildup to New York Toy Fair 2018, I really wasn’t sure what I’d be seeing added to the Marvel ONE:12 Collective series walking into the Mezco Toyz booth at the show. As it turns out, the three comic-based figures debuted were all ones I wouldn’t have guessed: ONE:12 Collective Blade, Cable and Cyclops Figures!
Continue Reading →Marvel Legends are far and away the most popular line of Marvel figures coming out today, but they’re also far from the only Marvel toys and collectibles out there. I had a chance to visit with most of the other major Marvel toy companies during New York Toy Fair 2018, and was very impressed by many figures and statues that I saw. Here’s my personal, totally opinion-based Top 10 Non-Legends Marvel Toys revealed at this year’s Toy Fair…
Continue Reading →If you were a kid in 90s (like me!), then you’ve got a special place in your heart for the 1990s X-Men cartoon series (it’s not even a question). The costumes seen in that series have gone on to be considered the “iconic” costumes for the characters, and few superhero animated series have managed to meet the high standard of the original X-Men cartoon. And now, for the first time ever, we’re getting PVC statues based on the art designs from the show: a Kotobukiya X-Men 92 Jubilee and Wolverine two-pack is now up for order!
Continue Reading →One of the most unpredictable ongoing lines of Marvel toys in the world is the Square-Enix Marvel Play Arts Kai series. Will it live? Will it die? What character will SE choose to reenvision next? Well, the next entry in the line has now been revealed, and it’s one I absolutely would not have predicted: the Play Arts Kai Cyclops figure is now up for order! And hey—he’s got the exact accessory I’ve been wishing Hasbro would include for years!
Continue Reading →Diamond Select Toys’ Marvel Gallery statues line exploded in 2017, with both the number of value-priced statues available and the line’s maistream profile growing exponentially. But one thing the line was lacking—with two key exceptions—was representation for the X-Men. But the DST Old Man Logan and Phoenix figures won’t have to be lonely for much longer—the 2018 Marvel Gallery Savage Land Rogue Statue has now been revealed!
Continue Reading →Sideshow Collectibles debuted two major 1/4 Marvel statues at San Diego Comic Con 2017 last July. One was the Wolverine Premium Format Figure that many fans are calling the best statue of the character ever, and the other went back in for further development. Well, it’s been half a year, and the Master of Magnetism is back, reworked and improved! The Sideshow Exclusive Magneto Maquette statue is now up for order—does it look good enough to warrant the big bucks it costs?
Continue Reading →We’ve got just over a month until New York Toy Fair 2018, but already, it looks like perhaps the (literal) biggest Marvel Legends surprise for the show has been spoiled by a most unlikely source: Toys R Us! In an online video posted on Twitter on the most recent Fan Vault Friday, Toys R Us revealed a never-before-seen Marvel Legends box set which may or may not end up being an exclusive: the 2018 Marvel Legends Sentinel & Days of Future Past Wolverine figures set!
