My favorite character in The Avengers movie isn’t Captain America or Thor or Iron Man or even Loki (okay, Loki is close). No, my favorite characters in Marvel’s The Avengers film is Agent Phil Coulson of S.H.I.E.L.D. Joss Whedon can make you fanboy out over a character like nobody else, and then make you curse Whedon’s name as he ruthlessly kills that character off. Luckily, you can’t keep a good S.H.I.E.L.D. agent down, and Phil Coulson will return to screens this fall in the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV series. And to celebrate the occasion, the amazing Hot Toys Agent Phil Coulson Movie Masterpiece Series figure has now been released!

Even after the Avenger Hot Toys Hulk figure had been available for pre-order for months, many collectors laughed and said it couldn’t be done and the figure would be cancelled. People said that the design didn’t lend itself well to the work that Hot Toys does, or that the figure was just too big to be produced, or that the project was taking too long and would be cancelled. But today, Hot Toys has definitely proven all of those people wrong. The Hot Toys Avengers Hulk figure has now been released overseas, and it is one massive beauty of a figure!

Well, this is my first time, and I know it’s going to be unforgettable, because the Hot Toys sixth-scale figure that I’ve received first (I have about a dozen on pre-order) is one that I’ve been waiting literally an entire year for: the Hot Toys Avengers Loki figure! It was their reveal of Hot Toys Loki that really hooked me as a future Hot Toys collector, and he’s finally arrived! All of the figures and news that Hot Toys brought to the event are things that we’ve already seen or known about, except with one key exception. The extremely limited Movie Promo Iron Man 3 Hot Toys Battle-Damaged Iron Man Mark VII Movie Masterpiece Series figure is now up for order! You can order direct from Sideshow Collectibles right now. This particular figure is an unknown limited edition, but only 1400 were produced and distributed overseas, and those sold out instantly.

UPDATE: Sideshow Collectibles sold out of the Battle-Damaged Iron Man Mark VII within two hours of placing it up for pre-order. They are accepting wait list positions now, so there’s still a chance to get one if you act quickly.
